I have been asked if car parking charges are tobe introduced at ground......also do OAP members get 50% discount for !st team matches

We understand that the council will introduce possibly car parking charging at the new car park and on the parking area down by Oxsrad,and yes OAP's get in for £6 when they have brought the membership card for £20

There will also be an offer for OUFC season ticket holders to be announced soon,so they can watch two of their players on loan

Please note that this is just club membership and the supporters are creating a group/club having their own fundraising initiatives etc..

Senior Citizens already pay £6 entry...so the question is do they get 50% off which would be £3 entry

I know the saying goes 'there's no pleasing some people'... but... offering money off to OUFC season ticket holders really gets on my nerves. It is, basically, ignoring the loyalty of some of us who shell out 12 quid, even when United are at home.

I Will be publishing the minutes from the formation meeting of the supporters club hopefully this evening.

I can confirm Car Parking charges will be introduced but not for another year or two. These charges will apply to both the Community arena carpark and the OxRad end by the Counsel and has nothing to do with OCFC, this is part of a wider initiative throughout Oxford as these two car parks are two of only handful left that currently do not charge . I can also confirm the club are intending to negotiate a cut of the profits from any car parking charges that are taken.
