If you look on the entry it says ....(Trading) Ltd... This must refer to a commercial entity, not the club proper.

Please be aware that this is a hearing only with no winding up order attached to it now,it was not advertised in the press as it should have been, as now paid,it was because of a late Payment to HMRC due to the circumstances, hearing still goes ahead and will open and close on Monday with no action.

Guest.. I have brought this up before. at the meeting. This for me is why. people won't come on here. The thread should be removed, we have delicate talks going on, yet guest facility allows an idiot to post crap.
And can I Just Add For god almighty sake, get a life or watch United....
'This forum is the unofficial fans forum for Oxford City Fc and will continue to be run by supporters of the football club for the supporters.'
Just would like to refer you to the above statement.... Just Like to add you are not a supporter IMHO prove me wrong and tell us your name.

I could not get to the game today, Well done everyone who made the effort. Nothing is going on at the moment Undertaker. Thanks for updating, can you have your own web page I think it might go viral, or have a virus. Very dificult times for the club. Can you please update us on a minute by minute basis or go back to Rageonline.
Just like to remind you of the History: Rosser left City ran down United to their Knees. sold everyone that moved... Maxwell Oh dear... Didnt you get the memo.. Then Kasham for a Pound, No lectures.

I don't see an issue with the other questions being asked. I'm glad to hear that this is all apparently a misunderstanding with HMRC. But please don't use the "delicate talks" line - any serious investor would/should be aware of this issue and have been suitably assured by the OCFC management this it is as you describe. But lashing out at others who may not be (in your eyes) OCFC fans, but who are concerned about the club's future does you no credit at all.

And I see this guest on here occasionally patronising about a result last season but, critical on everything else posting on raffle threads etc because he wasn't getting answers. I am attending every game at the moment have tried to established a supporters club by which getting more transparency. While at Eastbourne i was approached by two fans On the sea front just hoping that for once they might have some good News " We are going under" " We are going to lose Six points,we only have five so minus one" Then I get told about a new striker and all the injuries". Then I get told forget that its all OK. As you are a registered user you will be able to download the minutes Himself and yourself are welcome to attend and vent your spleen. I have seen no help or volunteering to help and no money invested. Either of you if indeed we are talking about one person turned up to the open forum or meeting. As for delicate negotiations. A potential invester will now be getting believe me warts and all. But what doesn't help is if they come across a misleading thread like this. It does wonders for morale as well.

I'm not going to have a long discussion about this thread, but the thread was started, and i believe rightly so by a concern being raised on an issue in the public domain that looked extremely worrying, Thankfully Rob has cleared up that the tax bill has been paid and the case will be seen with no action needed.
I edited and removed some references in the original and subsequent postings that i felt were unnecessary.

As I have made clear. I take nothing away from what I have said. What time are we winding up today Padz? You of all people know we are in financial difficulties but I would prefer facts to be put up before a guest starts a winding up order thread.

Where did I mention reliable source? Facts right. It was paid last I heard it caused an awful fuss in the bbc Oxford website an hour ago. That was almost certainty a result of this thread. Good to see we have potential investers . hope they won't be put off by anything they read on here.

The post said there was a winding up order - which was factually true. This was proven by the club showing up on a government list of winding up orders. All facts. The way we chose to interpret those facts was up to us. We were then given new facts and they changed the way we chose to interpret the old facts. I can't even begin to understand why you are annoyed. This is the best possible outcome. Everything went better than we expected.

This almost North Korean approach to information control is simply staggering. How dare people raise issues and ask questions?! Jeez - some people never learn!

The money was paid before the post was put up, without someone perminatly on the HMRC site it would have gone by unoticed as for the reference to North Korea. The only time you and you and your friend are on here is for doom and gloom. I hope everyone is happy with your continued input and support of our wonderful club... Now we will see if this is a democratic thread. probably be removed.

Bizarre indeed!
Who honestly thinks this situation should not be discussed? Something is clearly wrong at OCFC but it seems we should bury our heads in the sand a chant "La, la, la". My original post was not to make mischief or take the mickey, it was to bring something very important to the attention of an interested audience who might not be aware of the parlous situation.
I am glad the debt was paid and glad to hear there may be interested parties ready to invest - let's hope so - but to suggest that that thread may put them off is laughable!
Tutty is very robust in his statement and good for him but it might be a good idea if the club were a bit more open in their approach. He would appear to be well-connected but I have no idea who he is: it may be my lack of ability but I cannot find anything on the web to tell me who the (non team) management are other than Shep and the Chairman and the club NEVER gives any information out. And Tutty seems to be suggesting censorship of 'bad' news again which is reminiscent of when this board was bombed off the official site when The Yank got upset. It would be great if Padz would spill the beans on who put the pressure on last time!
Hopefully the winding-up situation won't arise again.
Oh, and just on oldwhitehousehoop's rant, he knows very well who I am as I introduced myself to him at Woking last season and we had a chat about the old days. I'm not sure why he is so opposed to Guests posting on here as they can quite easily register and post the same comments. Nothing I have posted is anti-City, nor will it ever be. He seems to have left this forum along with Hoops Army which is a shame - presumably they did so of their own accord as I can't see anything they have posted that would lead to a ban.

Just to keep things clear, nobody has been banned from posting on the forum.
Anybody with an grievances about the forum feel free to private message or email me, I think we have enough issues to worry about already without us arguing amongst ourselves.

The last thing I want to say on this, I will only be commenting as a guest anyway as long as its availible: Going from backwards to forwards. it deserves an explaination, although I have tried and I am suddenly Kim yong whatever! Not Banned. Firstly Hoopsarmy registered in my sons name and used by him only commenting, I was using it for video links. His last comment I don't like much as he saw i was upset, but wanted his account removed so He did this. After much thought I decided to remove my account, I have a lot on my mind at the moment, as the whole club does. You must read all please of what i have said, when i got to Eastbournes ground I heard the Payment had gone in over a month ago but had missed the cut off date. This happens occasionally when paperwork goes in late etc. but with the club Staff Multitasking its been dam hard apparently. As far as Guests are concerned, Not the only one to be angered by some of the comments, Thus this remains one of the few left to be able to do so, as for starting threads no Tottally opposed. As for Woking I talked to Many people on that day, so I have no Idea.

So oldwhitehousehoop you signed off in a fit of pique but now you're back posting as a guest! Forgive my little chuckle!
Does it really matter whether a person posts as a guest or registers and uses an anonymous pseudonym like you did? What's your point? Are you saying that if I register and post as, oh I don't know, say Eric Metcalfe, does that mean my posts will become more valid?
I served my time and know how difficult it is to run a senior football club (albeit City only had four teams then, not the dozens of today) and enjoyed most of it and wish them only well, but why would you think drawing attention to the issues should be censored? As it happens I didn't trawl through the HMRC website to find the info, I saw it being discussed on a national website and thought this would be interesting for City supporters to know about.
And before you mention it again I am also very worried about the finances at The New Manor where a heck of a lot of money seems to be being spent beyond their means too.
