There are two Town v Gown matches tonight (Tuesday) at Court Place Farm.
At 5.30 an OCFC Ladies XI take on an Oxford University Ladies XI, and this will be followed at 7.45 by an OCFC XI against an OU XI.

Thanks for the info Chris, unfortunately as usual there was no previous notice on the website about these games, therefore by the time I read your message during the evening (8:00 p.m.)it was too late to attend the games. Something for the web administrators to attend to next season. What is all this security nonsense to reply on the site. Bring back the old message board.

DavidB,
The security nonsense is to stop automated webbots posting random and sometimes rude things.

If you use a login then there is no 'security nonsense'.

When will the present administrators stop trying to rule over everyone. Why are you obsest with people posting randomly on the message board. If you took away the posting by Padz, Lomax, mark Neal and ChrisB ther would be little or no people posting new topic on the board. I am sure that I am not the only person who enjoys reading other relevant OCFC opinion whether they confirm or not with the official line!! Julian Dark's message board was far superior for the simple reason it was an open forum. Just to remind the present administrators and the above name contributors a lot of us were supporting the City long before you came onto the scene and started to impose security and censorship on what was one of the best web-sites in non-league football. One final point is to all those people who often tell me that they also prefered the old message board, why not put words where your mouth is and let your views be seen.

DavidB,
Can I ask a question? Why is it that you feel it necessary to constantly bring up the fact that you have been supporting City longer than other people? Are you saying that because you've been supporting for years and years that it's your way or the highway?
We're not obsessed with PEOPLE posting randomly, the security functions are to stop NON PEOPLE from posting. Do you want to come on here and see adverts for adult sites? These are the sort of things that automated webbots go around the internet, finding sites without security and then posting such filth. It's not there for censorship of you guys but for protection against things people do not want to see.

Yeah Ash, Padz, Mark Neal, Lomax etc how dare you support city and be under 60 years of age!!! The old message board has gone so move on the reasons have been given that lots of children read the board my 10 daughter included and we don't want them seeing adult material, I hope that when they are older they are more welcoming to the next generation of city fan.

Ok guys since when does this acturally connect to OCFC and more particularly TOWN v GOWN . If you want to talk about the website might I suggest the off-topic forum as this is the sort of thing I suggested that section should be added for. Im also curious on starting line-up and goalscorers if any info is avalible? * in regards to the security issues I agree they are a must unfortunatily, These bots are very similar to the ones that fill up your email spam folders with trash.....except the sort that seek forums like these post links, normally to adult material. anyone can post, but they must type in a number which the bots wouldn't be able to do....alternativly or if your a regular poster just register an account. This is better than on the off chance that a bot spamming the forum with adult material/links/viruses and the moderators then having to do a reset, which means we lose our accounts and posts....that would be great mid-way through a season. .

Sorry Hedges, I did not realize that you are now the official spokesman for the message board. Get your facts right, I have never before mentioned the fact that I have supported OCFC for a long time, and as for Thorpy this message board is for supporters and like minded people Not for 10 year olds, suggest they would be better logging onto CBEEBIES

10 year olds can't support football teams? She has been to matches all over the country premier league, play off finals, fa cup finals, internationals and many many city matches so she prefers football sites. Maybe you should try the website for the TV programme walking with "dinosaurs" just a thought.
