Cracking day down on the South coast yesterday!
Fully deserving of the three points, some cracking performances, Godfrey Poku standing in for Hendo at CB, looked extremely solid, and let almost nothing past him.
Jefferson Louis definitely brought some well needed experience into the side, and did a good job of calming the pace at times of need.
As for the goals, Fondop's, was very well taken, a great pass through to him, and calmly poked it over the onrushing keeper. Scott Davies, a very well taken penalty just on the stroke of half time. Although there was nearly time for a third, the keeper tipped a James Roberts shot onto the bar, and then made a great save from a Fondop header when the ball was sent back into the box.
As for the third, as Poole were pushing forward for an equaliser, a slack pass from the keeper gave the ball to Jefferson Louis to score in the bottom corner.
It's been a long time coming, but a well deserved win!

Have to agree with all patrick has said. Godfrey Poku was immense once again. Fondop played well up top with Louis. Louis put in a shift up too and his finish at the end was typical. 37 years young but still got that knack and strength. Scott had a much better game in the midfield. Jordi at wingback was good too,got booked for timewasting but was assured and got forward on the counter. James Roberts worked very hard and was unlucky to hit the post but did miss from a few yards out. His goal is coming though! We looked in deep control of the game they made it 2-1 and a bit nervy thereafter as they resorting to long balls and crosses into box. Few penalty appeals waved away but looked soft anyhow. This was a much improved display. Solid at the back and more fight and desire in the middle and clinical finishing. More of the same going forward lads!
Good atmosphere from the 15 Away City fans who made a noise! Poole fans said we were the loudest they have had this season!
