A good performance from City today, with three class goals, but to be honest it should have been more: for their domination, particularly in the second half, 5-0 would not have flattered the Hoops. We had control of the midfield, with Giles and Fleet both having very good games. How it could have been just 1-1 in the final 60 minutes against, to be honest, weak opposition today is hard to say, but it was rather like too many home games this season--City on top, but poor final balls or finishing let them down, and a lot of players were guilty at one point or another. Ty Belford looked confident, but he had virtually nothing to do until time added on. Pity we couldn't keep another clean sheet, but those three quality goals were a joy to watch and should give us some confidence going forward, as well as the back-to-back wins. It may not be straightforward now for Scott Davies to win his place back as we've done pretty well without him, and it was good to see McCauley back in midfield action today too. Justin may have a selection problem next week!
