Don't know if this has slipped beneath the radar a bit, but the County Youth XI, containing several OCFC players, is doing very well in the national competition. See OM report: HERE

Great performance from the whole squad yesterday,3 hours travelling there and an early leave and late return and very tiring day but a 3-0 win at Vauxhall Motors FA at Ellesmere Port against Cheshire FA,goals from OCFC Jack Tutton and two from OCFC Sami Khawaja sealed the quarter final win,we now play Middlesex FA at home towards the end of Feb in the semi final for the first time ever and the furthest Oxfordshire have got since in started in 1944

Semi final match is this Sunday afternoon at Thame FC 2pm KO the OFA U18's looking to get to the final for the very first time since the cup started in 1944, They face Middlesex FA that have won it and got to the final and famous players for them that have played and represented them are George Cohen,Jimmy Greaves and England Captains Johnny Haynes, Alan Mullery, Ray Wilkins and David Beckham,so hopefully a few of our players will shine and progress in time from playing at this level, the winners will host the final at one of the County's most senior grounds either at Oxford United FC or Barnet FC against Cornwall FA or Durham FA also being decided on Sunday.

...but many congratulations to all the OCFC Youth involved on getting this far in the competition for the first time in many years. Middx. by all accounts had been scoring plenty of goals throughout their progress. Missed the Ox Mail report on the match...
Cornwall won the other semi to reach the final for the first time beating seven-times winners Durham.
