In the uncaptioned photo, Ron is fourth from the left in the front row, between Tony Bradbury and Bob Jackson.
The 58-59 season was his most productive with 39 goals including four against Banbury N.A.C. and five against Morris Motors in the season's excellent run in the Amateur Cup.
His penultimate match was in November 1968 when he came on as a substitute in the close-run FA Cup tie at The White House against Swansea Town. His final City appearance was in April 1970 in the home Isthmian fixture against Hitchin Town.
