According to the FA 'release' today, Oxford City Nomads gained a reprieve and stay in the Hellenic Premier for next season (Burnham and Henley Town relegated). A 20-team division (at the moment) with Windsor transferring from the CCL. The two Divisions One show a lot of new teams...no details about the two Divisions Two. CLICK HERE for full details.

Items on several club forums about make-up of Hellenic Divisions Two, but not seen anything about NomDev's or CityDev's involvement/existence next season. Any news here?

According to Full-Time I'd reckon Div Two WEST is the one to join as it only contains Middleton Cheney and Newent Town at the moment! Could be a bit like the Isles of Scilly League!!

Hellenic Division Two (East) now up to twelve, and West up to fourteen on FA Full-Time - on a par with last year's numbers. So it looks as though the rumours that the two Development sides were disappearing were correct. Seems a shame as they surely helped to bridge the gap between the Allied Counties League and Nomads/1st XI. Am I right in assuming the Youth XI will be in the ACYL again...its constitution is not yet on Full-Time?

Nomads will be U23's mostly of the most promising and players possibly capable with experience to maybe play in the first team in the future,ACYL will be happening again,so migration from there to Nomads to the first team hopefully,to be the best you have play with the best and against opposition that tests you, that's how I see it anyway,

I see, on the Hellenic website, that Nomads have a new management team for next year, with Craig Adey being replaced by Rob Tutton & Paul Mulvany. Also Brian Cox listed as Chairman replacing the long-standing Dick Lawrence.

So Oxford City Development and Oxford City Nomads Development disappear (for the moment?).
In their only season City Development's record was: P 33, W 20, D 4, L 9. Goals For 114; Goals Against 65.
In their four seasons Nomads Development's impressive record was: P 122, W 90, D 5, L 27. Goals For 479; Goals Against 195. They were Hellenic Division Two (West) champions in 2014/5 and 2015/6. They also won the Oxfordshire Intermediate Cup twice (2014/5 and 2016/7) and the Hellenic Chairman's Challenge Cup (2014/5).

Burnham back in the Premier after Ardley took voluntary relegation to Division One. Bit of a surprise?

I see Craig Adey has now moved to manage Ardley United. Good luck with the new challenge.

Nomads face a first fixture of the new season at Brackley Town Saints in just under a fortnight on Tuesday, August 1st (tbc).

Only just published the fixtures and already there seems to be a change! According to Full-Time Brackley Town Saints now at home to Royal Wotton Bassett on the evening of 02/08 and Nomads' first fixture now not until 08/08 at home to Abingdon United. Still, plenty of time for that all to change before August comes around!

I see the City Twitter is saying that Oxford City Development (rather than Nomads) are facing Adderbury Park in the yet-again resurrected Benevolent Cup. So have City Dev' had a stay of execution (certainly not on the Hellenic site) or have Nomads 'morphed' into City Development?

I'd spoken to Rob Tutton through Twitter a while back who suggested that it was the Nomads that were playing in this fixture, however the OFA tweeted Development earlier today, which is what was put on our twitter feed. Will get this confirmed and get this up on here and the club social media!
Oxford City Development in itself is interesting, as it was Oxford City Nomads Development that won the Intermediate Cup!!

Presumably since CityDev and NomDev have 'ceased trading' Nomads are taking their place...but it's a shame the OFA don't even know who won the OIC! By the way, did Nomads win their friendly last night v Thame Rangers?

Though the OFA seem to think it's Oxford City Development playing - and it was actually Oxford City Nomads Development who won the Oxfordshire Intermediate Cup - Oxford City Nomads play their first competitive match on Friday evening when they compete against Adderbury Park in the Ox. Benevolent Cup. Trivia tease...when were an Oxford City FC side last in the final of the Benevolent Cup?

Trivia tease...when were an Oxford City FC side last in the final of the Benevolent Cup? Oxford City Nomads 9-1 Adderbury Park. OCN collect the Benevolent Cup ahead of their league start. A decisive result and £1k added to the Children's Hospital's coffers. Well done to all. Trivia Tease: First time for a Hoops side in the OBC Final since 1983...and the first time the Cup has gone into the City trophy cabinet since 1980 when a Paul Lee goal beat Witney Town.
