A great win for City (and for me!). Money in the bank and hopes for a good draw in the next round. Bring it on!

A great day out in Brighton. Good weather, good football, and good fried chicken and chips at half time Even going behind I felt that we were always going to win this one, we passed them off the park. Fleet and Zac controlled midfield, Paterson ran his little cottons off again, and set up at least two of the three goals and I thought Dave Pearce had an excellent game on the right both going forward and tracking back. Three one flattered Whitehawk it could have been a lot worse for them we controlled so much of the game. Looking forward to the next round

Shift in. Well done lads want to see the goalmouth scramble at wilson avenue end on video, it was like ping pong. About time i said what a wonderful job the OFA do. Of course Nothing to do with a suite following me around, with a horrid look on his face a bit like when one gets bunged up, or a crock is about to come in for the kill. Whitehawk thank you we will be playing you in the trophy, just a feeling.

Well that was fun.
Before their goal we looked a bit toothless but conceding seemed to shock us into life. The Fleet goal was fortunate in terms of how it went in but deserved in terms of the work he did to get into a shooting position in the first place. From there we kind of ran riot: good physical battling from Paterson and Sinclair for the second and a very incisive break for the third.
We have to talk about their 'keeper though. Calling him a donkey would be an insult to a decent animal: he moved like an oil tanker with an engine out and seemed as unfamiliar with the idea of 'catching the ball' as David Seaman was with 'staying on his line'. He seems like the kind of player who was just taller than everybody else as a kid and ended up getting stuck in goal because of it.
Highlight: pointing two very nice police officers in the direction of 4 young Whitehawk fans who thought there were very big and clever because they could walk in the way of cars trying to leave the ground.
Secondary highlight: knowing those little shits were probably still outside when the massive rain/hail storm hit.
