None of us are quite sure how we lost that 2-0. We were the better side for most of the game: smashed the bar within 5 minutes, sent Paterson clean through twice, Forde free header from 10 yards, Zac effort cleared off of the line and a few narrowly over the bar. They did well to take those 2 chances, especially the second, and we should have taken ours but it's really hard to come away with any major criticisms of the side.
The only things that marred the whole game were the stamp on Paterson which went completely unpunished and the uncharacteristic lack of atmosphere.

Fully agree, how did we lose? The crossbar, a fantastic save a last ditch tackle numerous free flowing moves with some great chances yet we come away with nothing. Can't fault the lads they were by far the better team, on another day we would have come away winning by four or five goals.
Three subs again, probably the smallest squad in the league we must get more in to support these lads who are giving it all. It's a results business, Mark J must be worriedl.

It must be incredibly frustrating to manage a team who consistently play well and lose. What on Earth are you supposed to do? What do you change? There's not a single player who you look at and say 'they aren't good enough' or 'they're underperforming'. I understand Jonah for not wanting to look at it as bad luck but after a game like yesterday's its hard to give it any other name.

Agree, but we are shipping far too many goals, defensively we have been incredibly short of height and at times heart. I've only been impressed by Oastler I'm afraid the rest have been poor. Sort the defence out, stop giving the oppositions goals for nothing and maybe we'll turn the corner. For me, Jonah probably has the FA Cup game and the home game against Poole to get a couple of wins before he really is under the spotlight.

Not having a settled back four due to injuries and suspensions won't be helping. Once we have a settled back 4 in place, the clean sheets will come back.

I see they gave Torres their MOTM award. I think they have forgot without their keeper playing a blinder It would have been a different result.
