Good for the club financially...not so good for getting to the game and a pre-match ale. Oh well, always after the game I guess!

Info for early kick off;
Embankment pub, virtually across the road from Meadow Lane opens at 10am! Castle Rock ales plus SKY.
Guess the Navigation pub (next to Meadow Lane) with its own brewery will open early too.
The brilliant Canalside near the station opens at 11am.
If following that, you're searching for a Spoons...you need help!

I wasn't expecting our game to be televised and would have preferred it not to have been if I'm honest,I can see your players being up for another giant killing without it being on TV as well, having said that I'm looking forward to the game though and I doubt that there will be many Notts fans who see this round as a formality, a couple of seasons ago we went out to Salford and that was on tv Plenty of pubs around the ground as has been mentioned before and we are a friendly lot

I see that Slough's game is on BT Sport on Monday. The Notts County website has prices for our tie fixed at £15 adults, £10 concessions: very reasonable in my opinion. I take it we can give our lucky green shirts another outing? Even if they do say Colchester on them!

We have scouts watching this.... And some club members and two girl guide's and a brownie

There are always upsets in the cup, that's why I love it so much (as long as its not us) Like I said two seasons ago we lost to Salford live on TV,after beating Bristol Rovers in round one 4-2 after going 0-2 down in the first twelve minutes it would be just like us to go out to City, last nights Bury result didn't add to my confidence at all but that's the excitement of the cup I suppose, the £72,000 will come in handy for a small club like City (no offence meant) How many do you think that you will bring?

Probably our biggest away following for this game for many years, but that wouldn't be hard to beat. You have to go back to post war when we were the main club and getting thousands a game. In the hundreds I would think.

That would be impressive if you bring hundreds considering that its a 12.30 kickoff and on TV...
Out of interest, while looking around your forum I noticed that the record for when there was the most posters on here was on Feb 20th 2013 at 2.51am,what happened then?

When OWHH says 'hundreds', I suspect he means two hundred! We took 153 to Colchester and I trust it will be more next time, despite the early start and the live broadcast -- those who went before will certainly want another one, and with United out there may be a few of theirs joining us for the ride, but bear in mind our average attendance is only 236, which probably makes us in those terms the smallest team through to Round 2, even if we're not the lowest placed on the pyramid. We can make enough noise to sound like hundreds more, though!

You will be housed in the Jimmy Sirrel stand and that holds about 5000ish so there will be plenty of room then, standing at the back in Z block creates the best acoustics, apart from the twenty odd grand from the FA and £72,000 TV money I'm sure that you will are entitled to 50% of the gate money, all in all that win against Colchester turned out a nice little earner for your club and should comne in handy if you only get a couple of hundred at home

No Tigerroar from his caravan in G!oucester, something about us being tinpot, oh How massive they are. Rumour has it they are still looking for their ground ,a bit big To lose oh no can't wait for him to bite

And some club members and two girl guide's and a brownie Pretty much dominated todays game,we must have had 70% possession and looked strong for most of the time, having said that the FA Cup is the FA Cup and anything can happen, there are upsets every year and an under dog team that's got its tail up in front of the TV cameras is a more serious threat than a team in our league imo

Big piece on City BBC South tonight 6pm. Radio Oxford attended training session Wednesday night. Doing big bit ongoing through the day on city started with interview with Freddie Grant. Then woke up Brian Cox early to get his view this morning and Ryan Bratley spoke from the fans view at 7am. More interviews and replays of highlights of the commentary against Colchester, also big focus during day, and full coverage and commentary Tomorrow.
Those still wanting to go and be part of it, have until 5pm tonight to purchase tickets and organise travel from community building at Marsh lane today opens at 9am.
Or still can reserve a place and ticket via link above in my last post.

Weather forecast for tomorrow in Nottingham is 7 Centigrade, so wrap up well! No rain forecast. For people going by train etc the gates open about 1.5 hours before KO. This is the big one, folks, let's give it a go and make it an epic for us. If we can dream it, we can do it, as has been said so many times before!

I've got half a dozen people coming from all over the country! Just want to confirm that they can buy tickets on the day from a ticket booth behind the Jimmy Sirrel stand? Think we'll be pleasantly surprised at the numbers coming

There will no problem getting a ticket on the day me ducks, there is usually a booth behind the Sirrel stand that sells only away tickets but it is CASH only, you can also buy away tickets from the main ticket office on Meadow Lane, there will be no problem with you getting your ticket from there but its also where Notts fans will be getting their tickets so expect a queue, the nearer it gets to kick off the longer the queue so just buy it as soon as you get to the ground is my advice Looking forward to a good game and there's always a banana skin to be had in the FA Cup,have a safe journey for those travelling up
