Your lads specialise in late goals, then, Chalky?

Not really although we win our last game with a 92nd min goal,Notts don't do well on televised games,City will come out of the traps flying for the first twenty minutes imo to try and get the first goal,we have a couple of key players doubtful (Ameobi and Stead) and we are unbeaten at home, the irony of a non league team beating us isn't lost on me,City will be far more up for it as Notts will probably have one eye on next weeks clash with top of the table Luton..... What's that banana skin doing there!

Felt a bit sorry for your lads at the final whistle, they looked gutted as they had put everything into the game,it was a great FA Cup game that could have gone either way,end to end and edgy, thought that it was back to your place a week on Tuesday before Grant made it 3-2 in the 95th min for Notts to scrape it Good luck to you for the rest of the season

Thanks! It was just like it was against Burton Albion a few years ago, a last minute winner to deny a deserved replay. Hope you get a lucrative tie in the third round. It was certainly a cracking game, and should have gone down well with the folks from BT Sport. As you said, it could have gone any way in the last few minutes, and Notts got the lucky strike. It does go to show that the Cup still has some magic in it, as Lincoln and Sutton proved last season. Hope you get promoted this time.

That hurt. A lot. But that pain will go and what we will be left is our immense pride in the players and what they've achieved.
Today is one of those days where we did pretty much everything right and lost. It would be easier to take if we'd shipped 2 in the opening 10 minutes and gone on to lose 6-0 But the carrot of the replay was dangled in front of us and pulled away.
We've gone to a high-flying League 2 club, scored twice and only been breached ourselves by 2 tap-ins and a penalty. It's an incredible performance and everybody involved deserves huge, huge credit.

Notts scraped through by the skin of their teeth, once again nicking a win in the last few minutes,as I said before I felt sorry for the City players as they looked totally gutted at the outcome,I knew that this wasn't going to be an easy game but maybe this year is going to be our year,we've either played superbly or have been lucky this season and today was the latter, take the positives from the game, you made some cash, didn't show yourselves up on TV and made a cracking game for the neutral to watch, you certainly gave us as scare and I'm not so sure that our luck would have held out at your ground on a cold Tuesday night Your players got applauded off and rightly so

Thanks, Chalky. Your people made us welcome and the match was played in a good spirit. I thought the first half was scrappy, and the goal certainly was --such a shame for Jack Stevens to be beaten by a bobbling, deflected ball just after pulling off a great save. But the second was a different story -- you couldn't take your eyes off it and I would think the neutrals watching on BT Sport would have enjoyed it. City fans were on an emotional roller-coaster and ended up with a bump at the bottom. But all credit to our lads, just part-timers holding League Two leaders until added-on time on added-on time! A cruel ending for us, but so much to be proud of and thankful for in this cup run. Everyone played their part again today in a great team effort. Jonah, we take our hats off to you - what an achievement to outflank Kevin Nolan's game plan and have Notts getting desperate by the closing stages! Roll on next year's FA Cup! But in the meantime, is the rest of the season going to seem an anti-climax after the drama of the last month?

Mixed emotions extremely proud of the performance Gutted at the last minute goal scored in 95 minute with 4 added.
Great goal from Patterson. May he continue to score in the league Which is Jonah and Joes main job now to pick them up and carry that courage we showed back into the league on Tuesday night home to Truro. Where we have another battle to make the games in hand count and turn them into points.
Just like to congratulate the Lads on a tremendous performance. And also the management who did everything in their power to get a positive result which was so near yet has now gone. A great run that will go down in club history. Our fans sang their hearts out, so well done everyone!

Now the dust has settled, really proud of the every player/official of the club. An amazing day out, an amazing performance and an amazing reaction from the press. Parked near the stadium, ticket office wasn't open so went for a pint in the Navigator - 'locals' pub but very friendly. We then walked up to Hooters and had lunch - best wings in the western world!!! The game kicked off and apart from County scoring I thought we acquitted ourselves very well, nothing in it. Jon Stead for a six foot four fella, fell over like a feather every time someone was near him, apart from that no complaints. Second half was probably one of the most exciting games I have ever been to watching City! Sinclair's goal was brilliant, but when Paterson scored the second, it was bedlam in the stand, I lost my brother in law who ended up four rows down and there were bodies everywhere - what a goal what a reaction what a feeling! Yes, the Ref should have blown up earlier, yes it was devastating we lost with virtually the last kick of the ball, yes we deserved the draw - but I can only see good things for this club following that performance - it has put us on the map! Catching up with all the highlights etc the commentators especially picked out both our goals scorers, and justifiably so, they are such cultured players, but that said the whole team were outstanding, it was a mammoth performance and one that I will never, ever forget.

I know that you didn't get the result that you wanted and a return trip to your place would have been more than fair tbh but I'm pleased that those who went had a day to remember, your fans made some noise considering that there was only a few hundred there (especially after City's second goal) Roll on next year when I will be watching the draw and hoping that we don't draw you out again,it was a pleasure to chat to some of you before the game Ta ra me duck Chalky

What a day! Everyone did the club so very proud! Supporters singing throughout, the players couldn't give anymore than they did, management set out a gameplan and it worked until stoppage time. It was a bitterly cruel end to a deserved replay. The players played well beyond there skins, can't fault any of them. The winner was a fantastic ball across and a lovely ball in, well stopped by Stevens and bundled in, any other time that would of gone left or right, no luck whatsoever in that regard. We played some really good football throughout the game and done our club the world of good, people now know what a great club/team we have and play football in the right way! Couldn't be more proud of the club, supporters, players and management. Well done one and all!
Still numb currently, but i'm sure we all feel the same, and players/management. Onto league tomorrow and Truro, be hard to lift the lads, but i'm sure that once it kicks off they will be in amongst in. Lets keep going, we will be fine.
