I noticed on the HL website ( HERE- ignore all the random apostrophes!!) a warning of potential lateral movements at Step 5 (Hellenic Prem.) before next season. Do you reckon Club/supporters would like a sideways shift...after all the 1st XI did well enough in the SSML? Personally I can't see the point in Division 2 becoming a Step 7 (officially) as over half the clubs in the two divisions are reserve sides, and I'm sure if Abingdon Town or Carterton etc did well enough in the division the HL would let them move up anyway (assuming ground-grading compliance). Is there another reason for seeking Step 7 status?

What a very skillful game Nomads played at Woodley Utd yesterday. This young side deserve all the credit in the way they control and dominate matches with their intricate passing game. Roll on Brackley on Boxing Day

Well done to Nomads on their Boxing Day victory at Brackley Town Saints. This takes their points total to 25: one more than they collected in the whole of last season. Onwards and upwards!!

Once again this young side have displayed the quality of football to defeat a young Brackley Saints team. They return to action on Saturday away to Ascot.
