Possible switch of venue for Tuesday's game blocked by League: CLICK HERE. Not too much chance of rain on the South Coast forecast for tomorrow...so fingers crossed.

Jack Stevens has just been recalled by Oxford United from his loan and will be backup for their game tonight in the Checkatrade Trophy.
In that case.... Who will be starting in goal for us tonight.... Luke Sanders is presumably off with the Nomads to Virginia Water!

Who will be starting in goal for us tonight.... Luke Sanders is presumably off with the Nomads to Virginia Water! Is this a permanent recall, or just to cover OU's cup-tie? In the meantime, I'm sure Luke Sanders would do a good job if elevated from Nomads...after all, isn't the point of Nomads, as several have said on here recently, to provide (though maybe not this quickly!?) cover for the 1st XI. If he does play I wish him the very best of luck - a clean-sheet beckons.

Saw when going to Pompey a week or so back, Moneyfields FC play literally up the road from Fratton Park. Go past on the train...Fratton station a few minutes further along! Can't make tonight...financially in the shite through Jan basically!

Brilliant performance in defeat last night, and certainly deserved a point, and if Ezra was half a boot size bigger we’d have got just that! That’s football though!
Huge kudos has to go to Luke Sanders for coming up from the Nomads at such short notice to fill in the goalkeeping jersey. Certainly no worse than his opposite number up the other end!
If we can continue to put in performances like that, we’ll have no problems pulling away from the drop zone!

Completely agree! A game of two sides really going for it on a pitch that was simply a disgrace and a Ref that tried his best to spoil it! Can see why H&W are top of the league, but we more than matched them, and we had enough chances to take at least a point. So very unlucky.
Young lad in goal did very well, indeed to a man I thought we were just as good as them.

Sounds as though it was an exciting game & we were unfortunate not to get a point. Glad to see that Luke Sanders made a promising debut.
Does anyone know what the attendance was?

Their full report isn't up yet followed by highlights. You'll get the attendance then, but it was nowhere near what they Expected with Pompey boycotting tinpot cheggers trophy. Even with nine men we looked a threat. Its a full call back for Stevens and we will only know if there is any chance of a return if Eastwood is replaced or suddenly recovers from mystery injury. But Jonah has been on the phone ever since. Yes we had a back up and Nomads, and even though a huge step up, we have some talented players. Sanders did his best and must be commended for an excellent save.
But for me what the hell is Ryan Clarke doing bench warming at Torquay. I thought he lives in oxford I suppose an emergency short term loan is out of the question?
We passed it well on a heavy pitch and ole happy Whistler in the middle kept on blowing up for their players antics special Oscars need rewarding for players rolling about and look to have ended their careers only to be dancing around in front of the ref two minutes later. This frustration got the better of Reece who pushed the play actor and received a second yellow gleefully from his reverence in the middle, but rightly so because we all know, your asking for it with a yellow, and their fans certainly called for it, because despite our keeper being Removed 12 hours before kick off we put in a hell of a performance and they looked desperate to see us lose a man, but the response was excellent and forde nearly buried it in the corner at the end to get what would have been a well deserved point against the top of the league on their own patch of grass.
