For those of us who were unable to attend, how did it go? Any good performances? Cheers.

Always difficult to rate players in pre-season, especially the first match and against a strong side.
City were certainly not disgraced and had a few attacks, El Sandy looked lively and hopefully will carry on his form from last season, Billy didnt really get into the game much but hes got the ability in him.
Looks like Burgess will be our freekick taker, he took all of the ones we got yesterday
V.impressed with Tommy Kinch who played left-back, rated him when he played for Banbury and left back was certainly an area we needed to address.
We didn't get much of a look at Jack Ashton & Dan Holman , Ashton replaced Kinch at left back and was rated quite highly by the Banbury supporters, think he's only 19/20, Holman apparently hit 40 goals for Long Buckby last season, he only had 5 minutes last night but apparently was carrying a slight injury from training, will certainly be worth giving 90 minutes to both players in another of the p/s games.
Looks like Belly & Pondy are all either on the road to recovery from injury or not far from it which is encouraging and a possibility of Fisher playing a part next season.
Word that Michael Lyon is desperate to return to the club if he can sort out working arrangements

My views on the newbies:
Craig Mcillwain - Looked solid at the back. Seemed to work ok with Clarkey. Not sure what happened with the defensive error at the end as I'd looked away briefly so didn't see who passed the ball.
Tommy Kinch - Like you Padz I was very impressed. Looks very assured on the ball and his postioning looked spot on.
Ollie Burgess - Didn't seem to get on the ball much in the first half. Got more of the ball in the second and looked like he could do a job if he got the ball. Looks to have a good delivery on him so probably between him and Belly for FKs.
Billy Beechers - Again showed some good touches and was buzzing around looking for the ball. Didn't really get much due to the strength of MK defence and midfield.
Jack Ashton - Looks like good cover for Kinch.
Dan Holman - Looked lively and was chasing everything. Took a few balls with back to goal and managed to hold it up and play in an advancing El. Definitely worth a good 90 minutes and I think he would do a job for us.
Does anyone know what's happening with Fish at the moment? Keep seeing him up the City but on the wrong side of the barrier!
