I would just like to say a big thankyou to everyone connected with Oxford City football Club for a really enjoyable evening on Thusday.
It was my first visit to the Court place farm stadium and I was really impressed with your facilities and hospitality; a nice clubhouse which welcomed away supporters, a good snack bar, good viewing from all parts of the ground and plenty of cover if the weather isn't too kind.
The game itself was played in good spirit and it was quite noticeable there were not many crunching tackles going in which is rather typical of pre-season friendlies. But I have to say I was really impressed with the workmanlike way your side went about the game and in my opinion a 3-1 scoreline would have been a lot fairer.
On leaving the Stadium a nice lady was thanking everyone for attending the game and wishing all the Dons fans good luck for the coming season which I thouight was a really nice touch. So I would like to return that compliment and wish everyone at Oxford City football club all the best for the coming season and hopefully I will find a free week to visit again in the near future.

Only just spotted that we had this fixture as I do not bother with friendlies as a rule.
While I appreciate that it is good experience for City to play a League side, I have to say I am disappointed that we have played the Franchise in a friendly. After all that City went through in the past to set itself up again, it sticks in the throat to play a team from a place that could not be bothered to build up a side through the Southern League etc. and only bothered with football when it conspired to get someone else's Championship team to move there against the fans' wishes.
I know. Old story. Move on etc etc.
Disappointed.

Thank you for your very kind comments - it was always a pleasure to hear that away fans have enjoyed their visit to Court Place Farm. I thought the MK Dons team and fans were a lovely bunch and it was a great evening enjoyed by all. Best of luck for the forthcoming season! Sharon and all at OCFC
