...but I can't see the FA Trophy (City supposed to start in Round 2 on Dec 5th) getting very much further.

All FA Cup games can go ahead. I suspect if any could not then the whole competition would had to have been suspended. I guess the match between City and Northampton may go ahead as they are both 'elite' teams, but maybe not Banbury v Canvey as both are below Step 2. If that is the case it would seem terribly unfortunate (and arbitrary!) for the Putitans after all these years.

So, for a little while at least, City are the last Oxfordshire side left in the Cup!

Interesting that he thinks we have only SOME players 'who can play'!
Yesterday's results show anything can happen. We could be hammered as Tonbridge were, especially if they get an early goal or two. We could push them all the way as Concord did Stevenage, only to lose on penalties. Or we could win that way ourselves, as Marine did at Colchester. We tend to play well against superior opposition, but only when we are away from home -- though with no crowd, who knows how the players will react? What is clear is that we will need both to play better than we did in our last match, and to have a slice of luck now and again, if we are to be in with a chance of reaching Round 2. But the pressure is on them. If we lose, no-one will bat an eyelid because that is very much the expected result. But if we win, Northampton will have to face an embarrassing inquest!

Hi rijs,
As a Cobblers fan for 40 years it might comfort you to know that we have had a few embarrassing FA Cup inquests to handle over the years: Stourbridge, Bromsgrove Rovers, Crawley, Canvey Island.
Enjoy the game.

I wonder if the second round draw is taking place at Marsh Lane? Stranger things have happened...!

The last round was done from the studio with one person doing both home and away. I wonder if the second round draw is taking place at Marsh Lane? Stranger things have happened...!

Their manager is absolutely right; we do have a number of ways of playing, very good or Flat 😆 Lets hope we are pumped up!

I wonder if the second round draw is taking place at Marsh Lane? Stranger things have happened...! Unfortunately not. The radio this morning was saying it's being done at Harrogate Town.

They have Danny Cowley making the draw. He is currently back in Lincoln, coaching his son's team while waiting for his next managerial foray. I have BT Sport all set to go for this evening. The Telegraph has a very good article on David Oldfield this morning.

Not, of course, that we believe in statistical omens, but City have never lost an FA Cup tie played on November 9th. In 1971 they drew the 1st replay of their record-breaking tie against Alvechurch 1-1 on November 9th; and in 1999 on this date they drew the replay of their tie with Wycombe Wanderers 1-1 (before the fire alarm took it to another replay!). So, 1-1 perhaps !!!!!!! ??

I've just got mine. You have to use an app to buy it but can then view it on a PC.
Last week I could not get the Andriod version to work - just seemed to hang on 'buy'. So used the Apple one instead - which is what I used this week.

Far be it from me to question the brilliant statistical encyclopedia which is Chris B, but I thought that first replay at Wycombe was 0-0 after extra time? Think the first tie was 1-1 and the fire stopped us winning the replay on penalties!
