I see from Full-Time that the City U23s are back in business on Sat., April 10th when they are at home to AFC Hayes Res. in the League Shield competition. Matches follow fast and furious after that with another five games in the competition before the end of the month.

Just on Full-Time as 11-0 to City. That's a pretty impressive return to competitive football after a four-month break!!

Sounds an exciting game at Slough for the U23s...City 2-0 up early on, but dragged back to 2-2 by half-time and eventually lost 5-3.

According to Full-Time, City's U23s travel to AFC Hayes this afternoon (April 24th) for a Suburban League Cup tie (k.o. 15.00). Hayes withdrew from the Shield competition in which City had won 11-0 the other week 'nulling and voiding' that high score.

The U23s lost the tie by the odd goal in five. Bad luck 'Young Hoops'.

Full-Time now has today's (15/05) visit to Chippenham Town for the U23s as 'postponed', and the rearranged Shield match at home to AFC Dunstable on May 26th. This competition is going well into summer before it's complete by the look of it .

Well done to the U23s who came from 1-0 down at half-time to win 2-1 against AFC Dunstable last night.
Both are now on 7 points, with Dunstable ahead on goal difference, but have played one game more.

The U23s visit Chippenham Town this afternoon (29/05. k.o. 15.00) for their final Group match in the Suburban League Shield. It appears that the winners of each Group go through to a semi-final. The U23s would need to win and turn their -1 goal difference into a +5 g.d. to win the Group. The winners of the Group will play Abbey Rangers in the SF. (Though much of the previous paragraph could be wrongly deduced from the SFL website!)

Well done to the U23s with a 1-0 win at Chippenham Town this afternoon (29/05)
In Group C Slough Town and OCFC both finish on 10 points, but STFC have the better goal difference and so (presumably??) progress to play Abbey Rangers in the semi-final.
