Bath, who beat Frome Town in the 3Q, now travel to play Banbury United. That would have been a fascinating tie for City if we'd had a longer 'run': would have drawn a big crowd I suspect. Last time City met Banbury in the competition was way back in 1977!

City also played (and won) at Banbury in the 3rd Qualifying Rd in 1948, when my imminent arrival into the world prevented my Dad from attending! We wont mention the defeat in an Extra Preliminary Round replay at the Spencer in 1938.

City have been drawn against Banbury 11 times in the past, it would be good to play them again. Good luck to Banbury against Bath, but it looks like The Romans are having a good season (so far?)
