Had a little bit of spare time this afternoon so thought I’d look at where we were after 9 games over the last 10 seasons since promotion to Step 2. I took into account the points total after 9 games and the league placing at the time, I also looked at goals scored after 9 games too..
Conference North
2012/2013. 17 points. 4th
2013/2014- 4 points. 22nd
2014/2015- 15 points 5th
National League South
2015/2016- 18 points 3rd
2016/2017- 7 points 19th
2017/2018-7 points 19th
2018/2019- 11 points 15th
2019/2020- 9 points 17th
2020/2021- 12 points 11th
2021/2022- 16 points 3rd
Goals scored . 2012- 17 Goals 2013- 10 Goals 2014- 16 Goals 2015- 20 Goals 2016- 8 Goals 2017- 13 Goals 2018- 11 Goals 2019- 9 Goals 2020- 16 Goals 2021- 22 goals
Even more impressive is the last league away defeat was November 24th last year and was 324 days ago. ( I know season was cut short due to covid but still impressive!)

Thanks Mark: interesting figures, and good to see that we've been knocking in the goals this season when, back in July, it seemed to be felt that we would lack firepower.
Just for comparison, the end-of-season positions were:
12/13: 10th; 13/14: 20th; 14/15: 6th; 15/16: 12th; 16/17: 14th; 17/18: 16th; 18/19: 12th; 19/20: 13th.

How many away league games is that unbeaten in a row now? Mustn't be far off of club record territory.

How many away league games is that unbeaten in a row now? Mustn't be far off of club record territory. 330 days ago on November 24th. Current away unbeaten in the league is at 8 matches. The run isn’t massive due the covid stop start and then the season ending early again. Plus the long fa trophy run. 2020/2021 Hungerford won 4-1 Billiericay won 3-1 Braintree won 2-1 Hemel won 5-3 2021/2022 Braintree drew 1-1 Eastbourne drew 2-2 Havant won 2-1 Hemel won 4-0

How many away league games is that unbeaten in a row now? Mustn't be far off of club record territory. In the 2005/2006 season City had an unbeaten away run in the league of 17 matches. That will certainly take some beating. More recently. 9 in 2008/09, and 9 across the end of 2006/07 start of 2007/08.

Still, look on the bright side... Between September 6th 1952 and February 5th 1955 City went 31 away league games without a win. Even worse, between March 4th 1922 and April 23rd 1925 they went 38 away league matches without a win!!!

...and to complete the 'records'. The best unbeaten run at home in the league was 23 matches from October 20th 1993 to November 15th 1994: 20 wins and just 3 draws.
