I still can't believe that with their team they haven't won a game yet!

And now we are only off the bottom thanks to Weymouth's points deduction.....

Yep, another very poor game. Only came alive in second half when we were already 2-0 down, still never looked like scoring, created 3 chances the whole game, NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Harding and Sandy I thought were particularly out of sorts today, Dan upfront showed alot of energy but saw very little of the ball.....We must get a natural goal scorer AND someone that can hold the ball up....we are far to light and I fear for us.
Also it says 0-0 on the main site, unless I really did miss something surily it should say 0-2.

Harding, only player all day that looked like doing anything, fordy needs to play him in amore central role, he for me was terrific today, only player with any flair or qality on the ball. as for the rest poor, hector really poor, and we need a striker desperately.

totally agree thought Harding was by far our best player, but did not get any help in a attacking sense from anyone else, we need to assess what formation we are going to play, and utilise it through harding, overall, do not think we are far away from our first win!

Thought Harding tried to do too much when he had the ball today picking to play the difficult pass when there were easier options. I'd have said Sav was our best player but nobody shone really & Brackley didn't really look that great.
Holman looked lively again but didn't really see enough of the ball to feet to make an impact but he's defintely worth a go from the start again at Supermarine.

What a complete shambles .It will not make any difference if you get a goal scorer ,because we do not make any chances ,we are playing too many people out of there corrected positions thank god Knight is on top form ,On another note where is Lyons ,Fisher and we can not rely on loan players all the time ,how much longer have we got to put up with the long ball against 6 foot plus defender when we only have 5 foot plus forwards

Lyon is currently on a 31 day ban for an incident last season whilst not playing for us apparently.
Fisher I believe has returned to the GH Academy.

i think Harding was getting frustrated with other players, he was on a different wavelength, he was doing really good things, and no one was working with him, i think a early post was good that he should maybe play off a front man, and i also think we will get that first win sooner rather than later ..

I thought Harding was generally holding on to the ball too long, and sometimes ran into dead ends or lost it as a result. Fordy was yelling at him to pass but he didn't. Only Knight had a good game, maybe Clarke too. Brackley were sharp first half, took their collective foot off the pedal a bit in the second but knew they were going to win as City never looked like scoring in the whole game. It's easy to blame strikers and it's true Sandy was a bit quiet (though he was up against Chris Wilmot, real quality at this level) but this lack of goals is a whole team thing--we are making penetrating runs or passes, not getting men in the box, just hitting lots of long balls and crosses. Their second goal summed it up. It started from a City throw in their half which went backwards to McIlwain, who then went further backwards and lost possession. Within a few seconds from there the ball was in our net, and the game effectively over.
