Big chance to build on Saturday's great win with another three points tomorrow night. Who's going? Predictions?

Pitch ruled OK this afternoon after strenuous efforts to remove surface water. ...as long as there are no more downpours before 7.45.!

Good news. So are you saying if it rains this afternoon/tonight, it'll be off?

Poor match. Should have got at least a point from that.
Completely disheartened for Stourbridge away now. How can you go from a win at Brackley to a loss to Clevedon at home? All that was needed was a simple win.
It probably didn't help that the referee was incapable of keeping the match under control and making an accurate decision. I know it's easy to point fingers but a lot of the time it was difficult to even see his point of view.
I cannot understand why Janes isn't starting either. We're struggling for midfielders anyway, without leaving one of the best ones on the bench.
Oh well, bring on the weekend...

agree with you're analysis spuds. However I was impressed with Josh's workrate - a good prospect. Really wish I'd gone to Brackley now!

Gutted. Tuesday night in the rain for that. Janesy should have come on alot earlier IMO, Duggy up top on his own wasn't working.

Agreed, Duggy upfront wasn't working, he can win balls in the air for fun, but hasn't got the pace to latch onto it after its bounced. There were a number of chances where we could have broken free from there defenders but duggy didn't have the pace to do that and there defenders handled it all too comfortably.
Id like to see Brooks play up top with Duggy until Steele is back (which is?) as he can provide us with the pace and bring Janes in on the left.
I think Sav was on abit of an off-night,wasn't passing the ball as fluently as what we are used to and giving it away to often, though you can't crit him as he has played pretty much every game and is normally extremily reliable.
Also City's lack of confidence at shooting out side the box was all too apparent, there were several shooting chnaces in the first half which came to nothing because noone had a pop, especially in those conditions the keeper could fumble the ball could skid off the surface anything could happen, any opening is worth a crack surely

agree with alot of what is being said.
Duggy up top on his own just doesn't work, he tries bloody hard but we are just lumping the ball forward for him to knock onto.......nobody...
Personally like to see Bairdy up top to give the attacking line some bite, it also opens up a place for Gunny to start which i think is a must.
Belly & Lyons/Janes on the wings, i've been disappointed by Jamie Brooks this season and he'd definatly be on the bench, Josh Emery looks a good loan signing and is getting better with every game.
We did appear scared to try a shoot yesterday, Liam and Savage aren't big on shooting which is what we miss without Pondy and Duggy doesn't seem to sure of his own shooting ability
We lose to Clevedon, I'm still sure we're going to beat Farnborough next week.
Strange league!

I agree with you Padz, but the new centre forward, time to be rid, doesn't anticipate a pass and too slow to catch one. - I would love to know who watched him play cos they want shooting. If this is the best we can do, bring back Faulkner, stoppy or not.

Frank, lets not forget he got off the mark on Tuesday. Granted, it was a tap in and his first in four apperances for the club. Desperately need Steeley back, any news?
