Hi, Reading fan in peace here.
I've been following Oxford City's results and progress because of our 3 loan players we have got there; Mills, Hector and Harding.
Just want to know what you think of them.
Mills sounds promising as he played a lot of games for the reserves last season along with some of our so called "bigger" names despite still being in the academy. And he is an England Under 19 international.
I don't know anything about Hector other than he came through our academy. He hasn't played much for our reserves.
Harding we signed from Bromley and I think we loaned him to you last season. He's not got a squad number but he is still only a scholar in our academy, I think he is only 17 still. Scored a goal on his one and only reserves game against Staines earlier this season.
So what are your opinions on them? Do you think they have a future at Reading?

We did indeed have Harry Harding last season as well as this on loan. He's got plenty of pace and skill, and always wants to be involved, but still a little naive at times about making the right choices when he has the ball. Michael Hector looks very assured for a young player. Has a good idea as to when he can take a couple of touches, and when it's necessary to put his boot through it! Not often caught in possession. I seem to have noticed Jack Mills rather less, but tackles solidly and very keen to get forward on the wing. A good crosser of the ball. Goodness knows, though, whether they have what it takes to play regularly at a much higher level.

Nice thanks, Harding seems a good prospect. I heard he scored a good goal for you too a couple of weeks back. And if you're interested, here is Jack Mills' Twitter twitter.com/millso_2010

Michael Hector looks a good player so far, sometimes gets caught slightly out of position but is a good tackler and has ariel ability, he kept Truro's Les Afful(a former football league striker) in his pocket last weekend.

Pretty much sums up modern football jumped up kid who's achieved nothing in the game seeing a club with a long and proud history as a joke! Shame it was good enough for our only ever world cup winning captain to come to and manage, Good luck with your career hope you don't have to play for such a small team again!

I don't really agree with this and think it may be a slight overreaction. This is the day he found out he was moving to City, after probably thinking he had a chance of breaking the first team at Reading this year. Not to mention it's a Twitter page, where people regularly write "statements" without really thinking. I'm sure he's now very pleased of the experience he's getting with OCFC. I've asked him a couple of times if I can have a word for the new site: ocfc.tumblr.com but he's not got back to me yet. We'll see...

You do not have to agree that's what make a good forum opinions! And my opinion is that in whatever circumstance and via whatever media it is disrespectful towards Ocfc. I hope he is grateful and does appreciate getting a chance at a very good non league side such as City because there are no grantees that he will make it at a "Big" club. Again this is my opinion and not an "overreaction".

That's ok then all forgiven................ I was gonna ask him about it but I thought... A) Does it really actually matter? He's put in five strong performances for City. Clearly he gives a S**t (He has done exactly what Hedges asks for above) and it was just a throw away comment. No one would have even seen if his Twitter page hadn't been posted on here. B) I thought you may have forgotten about it... C) I'm far more interested in his opinion on XFactor. Can we just let this drop now There's people dying in their thousands Pakistan

Are you sure Harding's staying? I'm sure MF said all three were returning... And he didn't feature in the Evesham match...

Not sure if that's correct, think we're better with belly,Lyon & janesy tbh, all better players than hh in my opinion but as a loan player he is/was pretty much guaranteed a starting place which I'd disagree with
