Hi, I used to be a regular at home games from 2005-08. I used to try to and drag my fellow Oxf Brookes comrades down to CPF where we'd have a sing song in the 'Shed' some of you may recall.. As Ive moved back home along we everyone else who's finished I havent been for a couple of seasons and I wondered whether any students have taken on the Shed Army mantle? Ive seen crowds are down, probably due in part to the enemy getting back in the league and disgruntled United's returning, but I wondered what the atmosphere is like down there now? We had some great times down there and I think I'll make a special effort to get over for a game this season. Good luck, I'm sure we'll stay up ;D

Hi Timbo,
Im one of a group of lads that went quite abit last season, had a real sing song, Burton being the Highlight. This season most of them have been at festivals and such over recent weeks and I think most of them are intending this year to go to more Away games for greater banter....theres a group of them going to Swindon this weekend I believe....I just havent got the money to do away games so im doing home representation along with my old man when he can.
As it stands at home, as someone described on the zameretto fans forum in the thread about noisest/loudest grounds ours came under 'could hear a pin drop', which sums it up really.
I think its a missed oppotunity not publicising City at the Universities, there was a mention of it this season but too close to the start of the season to get any ideas together, you would be surprised how many people don't even know OCFC exists.

I don't know how often the more vocal lot will turn up this season. They seemed to have lost interest, and it doesn't help that it's been quite a bad start. As for Swindon, I think we might struggle with numbers again.

That's good to hear Hedges. Hopefully it will pick up during the season. I imagine Diddy, Leamington, Salisbury, and Chipnum games could be quite good.
Definately would be worth a poster or two up at the Uni. I found the best was to entice people down was explaining that there was a bar and you could walk round the stands with your pint- A great selling point! (It was also only £3 for students then)
Also is a quick route from Headington if, (like we used to), cut through the old village, pit-stop at the White Hart which is nice, then drop down across the playing field past the hospital and you're there. Nice route.
