An U23 side in the Suburban League gave chances for some players to move up to the 1st XI (Carbon, Humphrey-Ewers...). Will a move (assuming no U23s in the SL in 23/24) to Hellenic League Division 2 provide a better pathway to the senior side for aspiring players?

I'd say no. When the Nomads were winning the Hellenic Premier, their best players hardly got a look in for a City side in the Southern League.
With Division 2 being two division lower, and City two division higher, the gap is much wider !

The Hellenic League have released a list of the 37 teams involved in next season's Division 2 CLICK HERE, but have not yet divided them into the four regional groups (so they're going to be quite small Divisions.)

After a vote among the clubs, the Hellenic League has decided on three (rather than four) Second Divisions. Oxford City Development have been placed in Division Two Central... Ardley United Development Didcot Town Development Easington Sports Development Headington Amateurs Highworth Town Reserves Kidlington Development Letcombe North Leigh Reserves Oxford City Development Swindon Supermarine Development Thame United A Wantage Town Development Watlington Town An interesting mix of opponents, and markedly less travelling than in the Suburban League.
