As a OUFC fan we all know our club has had loads of difficulties over the years doing various signage/advertising etc etc at the K*ssam but on Monday when travelling into Oxford with a client (client from London) we spoke about the upcoming season for the Yellows and then he turned his attention to Oxford City FC. Obviously, I couldn't say too much about City other than acknowledging that they had a very decent season accumulating in promotion to step 5 of the English football league. Now, here is the caveat to my post. We were on our way to St.Clements via the Marston Flyover when I said hurriedly that the ground was sort of behind the trees to my left.In a blink we had passed and I then pointed very quickly to the entrance to the stadium of which he then said to me about the whereabouts of a stadium sign. He couldn't believe that there was no sign and went on to say that he believes the club is probably missing loads of tricks as any outsider/neutral passing this area daily/weekly wouldn't even know that a football club which will be playing at their highest ever level even exists. However, I'll probably go past in a weeks time and a spanking new stadium sign will be neatly in place lol. Just thought I'd share my clients comment. We (OUFC) have had 20 plus years of stinging jokes about our missing stand but with your stadium hidden behind a few leafy trees it may well be advisable to get a stadium sign up pronto for when the big boys of step 5 visits our world famous city and could end up drifting over to the yellow side of town on match days. COYY'S.

This post deserves a reply. Agree 100%. There needs to be signs at the main roundabouts and from the bypass and a welcome to Oxford City FC sign.
