Much improved tonight, we played some really good stuff, again just the goals lacking.
Looked alot more direct, Kington and Bloss both had good debuts and good to see Belly showing signs of his former self when he came on.
last matches for Mills & Hector who will be returning to Reading and Elliot Sandy has left the club.
Don't have too much info on James Dobson as yet.

Padz pretty much summed it up, was happy with tonights performance, showed more passion and commitment I felt. even the away supporters acknowledged they were lucky to get away with 3 points and said we certainly don't look like a team thats rooted to the bottom....oviously they have missed the last 7 games though.... deserved a draw if not more , had a couple of openings in the first half and came out in the second half on the front foot creating several chances in quick secession. One of which was a hard hit shot from 6 yards out that the keeper at full stretch somehow got a hand to and kept it out....you know when your luck it out. Completely bar a couple of pacy counter attacks, dominated the second half. Comedy moment of the night.....Fordy being sent to the stand for calling the ref a tosser.....which quite frankly he was....had a very very bad game....oh and there abysmal penalty is up there as well. As for commitment full marks to Liam Malone diving almost John Terry head first style at the feet (studs showing) of A Cambridge defender to stop him clearing the ball, not many people would do that....im one of those masses Not so great moment of the night, Fitchetts late and reckless potentially leg breaking challenge on a Cambridge defender, who thankfully was able to get up again after...but the red card means he'll be back at Wycombe by the time he could play for us again. On another note what has happened to Billy Beechers, Terrence rumor says he has gone as well??

If anyone's interested I've put up a little piece on the site: www.oxfordcityfans.co.uk/If anyone is interested in writing for the website, please let me know. Would be cool to get some specialised opinion on there.
