What to say after another sensational performance ?!

I thought Hartlepool looked a very good side in the first half, and a wonder goal from Cooke gave them a probable deserved lead, However, perhaps City were again guilty of showing too much respect to illustrious opposition in the first half, and after closing down space and pressing in the second half, showed Pool were uncomfortable under pressure.

Three goals in 8 minutes was incredible and Hartlepool were well beaten by the end, reduced to chasing shadows as City produced some champagne one touch passing football.

The visiting fans were very vocal in their displeasure with their side's performance, although you would have thought they were used to their side losing !

Will Josh, Andre and Zac get into the team !

Next time I really am going to leave it to you, Clive - your reports are more detailed and accurate than mine! I'll just make some comments. One thing I would say in response is that the song referencing Andy Carroll, initially sung by Pool supporters in the first half to mock our Carroll, was sung ironically back at them by Shed Enders after Canice had equalised.
