After tonight's result and the increasing reality of a return to National League One, looking at NLN, both Gloucester City and Bishop's Stortford look good bets to go down.
With the only likely "Northern" team now looking likely to be relegated being Kidderminster, I'd say City would be looking to return to the North.........

Though I'm sure the team will battle until the season ends, it is, realistically, looking as though a return to Step Two is on the cards, and it could well be to the 'North' given the other likely candidates for demotion. If that did happen it could bring the problem of looking for players from a different area again, with trips to Southport/South Shields etc not being a particularly attractive option for SE-based players. Or maybe more stepping up from the Development XI who are certainly having a good season?
Still, the VNN could bring the return of relatively local derbies with Banbury (if they're not relegated), Brackley (if they're not promoted) and Gloucester (if they're not relegated). Unfortunately travel costs would, I suspect, not be terribly different from this year with some very lengthy journeys.

Fylde and York back in the relegation mix, which could be good to avoid going North.......
