Hi All, Hearing some rumors that’s Worthing having lost their manager recently are interested in Ross, I would be gutted to lose him but with us likely going to NLN I worry these rumors may be true.
I have seen a few comments on X (Twitter) but wondered if anyone on here had heard anything?

All I've seen on Twitter is a couple of people saying Ross would be a good choice to take over at Worthing in response to an article that Scott Bartlett, currently manager of Weston-Super-Mare, would be a good fit. I wouldn't call this rumours. I could add a post saying Jurgen Klopp would be a good for Worthing and that wouldn't have any less substance or credence than any of the other posts on Twitter !
Ross has apparently recently signed a new contract at City and would probably have to relocate to take charge at Worthing. When he does eventually leave City I would think ( and hope ) it would be to a "bigger" club than Worthing.

While he is a good communicator, his changes and acquisitions proved to be poor, I am not sure the team will even be able to be a contender for promotion when they go back down.
I don't know what kind of budget he had, but he wasn't very good at identifying the right players in my estimation.

I don't know what kind of budget he had, but he wasn't very good at identifying the right players in my estimation. The core of the team was injured from September onwards. That has had the biggest impact on this season.Ross's budget was the 24th highest in the league! So he didn't really under achieve. If we keep the core of the squad and don't have a similar injury crisis we will be more than alright next season. We have shown today against Oldham, even with Josh Parker, Canice, and the likes of Mitchell and Nya missing, as well as Zac for 75 minutes, we are a good footballing team. Ross will have made mistakes this season, hopefully as a young manager he has learnt from them. But we have to remember his first two seasons ended in unparalleled success.

You are correct Graeme, but the January transfer window wasn't used well, and we were in a position back then to perhaps fight against relegation, efforts should have been made to do so. I am not saying he should be fired, but I'd like to see bigger moves when the opportunity to correct the course of the team is available.
