Thought there might be a win coming for quite some time this afternoon, but not to be. City's ninth 2-1 league defeat of the season, so plenty of close-run fixtures, but that one seals the relegation.
A York victory of Bromley brings Boreham Wood into the mix who were in the 'south' before they went up...which is a bit annoying.

Well, I think we all knew this day was coming. Comes as a bit of a bittersweet moment really, as I thought we had a chance of staying up with our squad, but was always going to be a tough season in our position.
Injuries to key players haven’t helped, and the fact that Fleet/Ashby/Zac have barely played 90 minutes together all season shows how unlucky we’ve been as this partnership has always been key for us.
But what an experience it has been to travel to some of these big ex-EFL sides in Chesterfield, Southend, Oldham and are certainly memorable to play these sides as equals. What a great experience it has been to go to these grounds this season.
In terms of this game, it feels again that we were badly let down towards the end by the officials. It looked a certain penalty on Taf at 1-1, then a fairly nothing free-kick ended up being the winner. A point would have probably been fair, but would have been nice to not have our fate sealed by a poor referee.
