With City's Development XI's final match at Kidlington tonight (16/04) now being listed on the League website as a home team w/o, the season comes to a close with a (probable) fifth place finish.
With 75 league goals in their 22 matches they've been consistently high scorers with 16 different players netting at various times. Joey Bailey with 18 goals leads the way with Kian Duggan (17), Charlie Bacon (14), Josh McConnell (13) and Brayden Daniel (12) all making double figures.

I believe Bacon has scored for Kidlington and Daniel for Aylesbury United recently in the Southern League Division One Central

I believe Bacon has scored for Kidlington and Daniel for Aylesbury United recently in the Southern League Division One Central I'm sure you're right, and I think Brayden Daniel scored a hat-trick in one match for Aylesbury. Maybe one, or both, of them will be knocking in the goals for City next season.

Prior to today, Daniel had scored 10 goals in 16 league appearances for Aylesbury, including a hat-trick in a 4-4 draw with Stofold. Bacon had scored 4 times in 8 matches for Kidlington.

In total the Development XI played 35 matches in the 2023/4 season and won 21: in those matches they knocked in the impressive total of 110 goals. Several players from the squad featured in the Senior Cup matches, and Charlie Bacon and Brayden Daniel went out on loan to Southern League clubs, but none made the very big step up into the 1st XI for league matches or national knock-out competitions. Perhaps next season will see some making that step?
