Much better today, City! A game of two halves, both of them good for a change. Excellent battling performance and a point-clinching header at the end for Aaron Drewe. We may not have broken out of the relegation area yet but we showed bagfuls of grit and determination to make progress.

Yes, that was evident as I listened to the Radio Oxford report. Particularly pleasing to hear how well we defended - was that a first this season? Onwards and upwards now!

Bring on Alfreton !
Interesting that Siddik and Kpekawa were not involved, and City seem to be defending better...........

I've just noticed that it is an International break this weekend. Does anyone know how many City players have been called up ? Andre, Jalen, Kai, Josh ?

I've just noticed that it is an International break this weekend. Does anyone know how many City players have been called up ? Andre, Jalen, Kai, Josh ? Not sure if they’ve all been called up, but guessing we’d have heard by now if it was postponed due to call ups. Worth noting though that if Alfreton win their cup game on Tuesday night that Saturday’s game will be off anyway!

On the one hand, not such a bad thing as it gives Jenkins more time to work with the players - and City would have been without Jones. On the other hand, it would have been nice to carry the momentum from Scunthorpe into Saturday. There again, on the third hand, I'm away this weekend so quite happy about the postponement!

This is a draw that counts as a good thing, but we are in for a rough, rough season if we don't start winning some matches.
