A below par performance from the boys last night (probably still hangovers from Sunday?), but still managed to beat Witney Royals 3-1 last night in the 2nd Round of the Veterans County Cup. Dave Southam continued his record of scoring in every game with another double, and Paul Kimber got over the disappointment of missing a penalty at the weekend against Oxford United with the other.
Team: Carl Fisher, Simon Pagano, Robert Tutton, Julian Dark, Liam Carroll, Antony Hill, Paul Kimber, Justin Lee, Mark Orlando, Wayne Holden, Dave Southam. Subs: Ronnie Williams, Stewart Parsons, paul Creed, Steve Foote.
I'm sure the boys know we need to be 100% better next Wednesday when we return back to league action with an away fixture at our old rivals & last years champions Kidlington, kick-off 7.45PM

Like all top players Holdy it's how quick you bounce back from your dissapointments that count!!
Good to score at the same end as the penalty miss.. Thankfully they didn't have Alan Judge in goal!!
Real shame Specky didn't get a run out yesterday, it looks like he has been keeping himself fit since he last played!!
Looking forward to next weeks game already.. Come on the Vets.
