The seven games before the Burton match...
Oxford City 3 - 0 Rugby Town
Banbury United 1 - 1 Oxford City
Oxford City 1 - 1 Didcot Town
Leamington 1 - 2 Oxford City
Oxford City 1 - 0 Tiverton Town
Oxford City 4 - 1 Bedford Town
Evesham United 0- 0 Oxford City
the six games following the Burton match...
Oxford City 0 - 0 Chippenham Town
Oxford City 2 - 1 Swindon Supermarine
Hednesford Town 4 - 2 Oxford City
Oxford City 2 - 2 Merthyr Tydfil
Brackley Town 1 - 2 Oxford City
Oxford City 1 - 2 Clevedon Town
Thoughts? There was a lot of negativity around my lot last night (including myself), but on paper it doesnt look too bad. Two losses in thirteen. OK, only eight points from four home games isn't great reading, and the inconsistency is creeping in.
I can't help but feel that Saturday's match away to Stourbridge is crucial to the season. With Farnborough away in the week, we could be three games without a win, and it'll be play-off chances near-enough over. If we win on Saturday, however, it could be a different story...
Stourbridge 0-2 Oxford City
Farnborough 2-1 Oxford City
Didcot Town 4-4 Oxford City
Oxford City 1-1 Bashley
Oxford City 2-0 Hednesford Town
Tiverton Town 1-0 Oxford City [/color]
Updated after my previous post at the begining of December. Makes interesting viewing.
Updated again: Last six then - two wins, two draws & two losses. With two tough home games coming up it's important to get onto winning ways.
