Anyone else slightly mythed by his departure?
Ive thought he's looked good, admittedly he hasn't had much time on the ball, or dare I say much time on the pitch, but he chased everything, looked sharp and has a slightly feisty attitude to the game, which is something I like to see.
Even if Fordy does get another forward, surily we need some form of cover and depth to the squad...who's going to play as a forward if Prichard or *insert name here* gets injured?....Jansey?...or are we going to be going through monthly conveyor belt of loan signings again?....which does very little for the stability in the team.
Or is it just financial reasons again?
Good Luck to both Tommy and Danny whatever they do in the future.

I can understand Kinch leaving as he had found another club. But Lennon's departure is yet another action which looks odd from the outside. According to Ford he was behing Pritchard and Woodley. But Woodley has gone back to Oxford United, and the new mystery striker hasn't yet appeared. Surely you would wait until then to let Lennon go even if you thought 2 forwards were sufficient for the squad ?
I agree that when one of the forwards gets injured we will be back to the loan signings circus.....
There does seem to be a habit of signing players, not giving them a proper chance and then letting them go. How many players have appeared this season, must be now over 30 ?

Does anyone have any clues as to who the new forward will be ? There is alot of chatter on the Hellenic league forum of Ben Thompson signing for Didcot when he recovers from injury. This might mean Bartley or Draycott will be looking for another club ?
As for a new goalkeeper, Will Puddy would have been good if he hadn't just signed for Salisbury. If Harrison doesn't come back, I quite like Beames at Abingdon United. He looks capable of playing in a higher division. Anyone got any other suggestions ?

Hard to judge Lenny's departure until we know who the new guy is. Could be shrewd bit of business my MF. I agree it does seem odd, but lets see what happens at the Cirencester match before we pass judgement.

The new striker should be able to handle this level, hopefully we'll be able to bring you the news on the homepage when it's all finalised
