The weekend after next, Saturday 4th December, we are organising a trip up to Stourbridge for Oxford City’s league game. At the moment the plan is to go on the train but depending on how many people are interested, we may look to hiring a bus. We’ve hired out a room at the Old Crispin Inn, a nice little pub in Stourbridge for a few pre-match nerve looseners. This will be a great chance for all us City fans to mix and discuss tactics! The total cost of the trip is £20, which includes a match ticket & return trains. An absolute bargain, I’m sure you’d agree. The train leaves Oxford at 11.07am, so meet at Oxford railway station at 10.50am. The players and management really appreciate the travelling support, and it certainly helps to motivate them when there is 50+ blue & white supporters behind the goal.If you are interested and would like to book a place or would like more details, please contact me at robinwlomax@gmail.com or leave a message below. www.oxfordcityfans.co.uk

I know it's slightly further than Cirencester/Banbury, but would be great to get that sort of response. Will just have to wait and see. It's a very good deal on the trains, something we should all make the most of....
Last season was brilliant: won two nil and Fordy got the beers in!

You had a much of a response about this Lomax?
Also you might want to post up the address of the pub as I presume there will be a bunch of people driving up, so they can come and join us in the pub before hand if they so wish.

Yes will put the address up for the pub before the match. Don't think there will be many City fans TBH. There's was only us lot and a small sprinkling (four or five?) last season. It's not the most glamorous of away days.
As for a response for next weekend, looks like it'll just be the Chinnor lads going from Princes Risborough; me, you, Steve (hopefully Dave), Malone, Mark, Potter, Ed Holland and my brother. Leave Risborough at 11am, it's £15 each on the train. Might stay in Birmingham for a couple of shandies and the Blackpool v Man United game on the tele on the way home, but will see what happens.
Will be a fantastic day though, can't wait!
