Yet another local lad has decided to leave the club (what a pity if only he had been played in his correct position as a center forward and not put out on the wing, the same thing happen to Fisher no wonder they become unhappy and leave , maybe he will be able to go out and enjoy his game without be shouted at from the bench )all the best Mark .IS IT NOT ABOUT TIME WE TRIED TO ENCOURAGE LOCAL LADS TO PLAY FOR US INSTEAD OF MAKING UNHAPPY .no wonder the the support has dropped off get the local lads to want to play for the club and not pay players to travel 50/60 miles to play. that nobody knows and never will

Back to Brackley. Last season we won there, and we can do it again, this time without the rain!

Well your usual 10 travelling supporters will have to cheer twice as hard as they do at home if you are top win - Saints to take 3 points for me!

After being a long term supporter, who because of inept management and poor quality football, have had to take the untimate step of stop supporting the CITY because the supporters views were completely ignored. How long will Mike Ford be allowed to ruin OCFC by allowing local good players to leave and then bringing into the club replacement players who cannot secure a place in the team they left and numerous youth loan players. I am sure that I am not the only supporter to stop watching city because of the above reasons. Before Padz and his cronies have a go, I was watching OCFC long before them both in good times and bad times, plus I have played the game at this level although was many years ago P.S The present OCFC web site and forum are not a patch on the one created and managed by Julian Dark, the number of subscibers prove this.

Thanks for that David.
I'll give my opinion if you want it or not, but as it doesn't match yours on every level i'm sure you will dismiss it anyway.
Nobody, Mike Ford included is happy at the way this season is going but rather than deserting the club and then ranting on here we are doing all we can to support the club, the hard working comitee and the management team.
If you want to become petty about things, the Website is currently in it's strongest position and the number of subscribers is showing this as we are the 8th biggest club on the Pitchero network of over 400 clubs, YOU may not like it but the general feedback receieved is positive, the homepage averages over 1400 visits per day.
And it's great to see you using a line of watching the club longer than everybody else to try and back up that you think your opinion is the correct one and everyone else is wrong, If you've been watching for long enough you'll have been there with Bernard, Paddy and Jim and the other members of my family who have been watching and involved with this football club since the 1930s/40s, We all pay our money to watch the team so everybody is entitled to their opinion and the fact that you've played competitive football many years ago doesn't give you any more reason to know more than anybody else.
I don't want to rant or be petty about things but you're obviously looking for a reaction, for the record i always valued your opinion on things but it seems that i've in some way offended you so by all means feel free to have a pop at me and my 'cronies'

After giving Fordy a bit of stick on here a couple of months ago I think he has done a good job at steadying the ship over the last couple of months. First 3 months of the season were a disaster with a large turnaround of players but since then bringing back Steely and signing Jesionkowski have been shrewd bits of business. And there has been much needed stability in the side. As for Janes - big time Charlie with a bad attitude who thinks he is better than he is. Better off without him.......

For what it's worth as an occasional supporter think Janesy has been a real disappointment and not paticularly sad to see him go. One of my favourites last season (will always remember his contribution and goal after coming on against bury town in fa cup), something has definitely not been right this season and his contribution and demeanor seem to have been poor.

Im with Local Scout on this one. Despite getting the burning torches ready to light not to long ago, I think Fordy has done well this last couple of months and although on paper we still arn't getting the results we desperatily need there has been a tremendous improvement in overall performances, both as a team and certain indervidural players. I thought we played very well against Brackley and should have come away with a draw (can someone please run past me why our goal was scrubbed please?) Stability is, in my opinion the key to our improved performances and the re-signing of steele has given us much more potency infront of goal. As for Janes I thought he started the season well, but has never cemented his position in the starting-11 so I can kind of understand him moving on, surprised he went 2 divisions below though.... On a side note my next request to Fordy would be to sign a tall (6ft+) strong target man....just so a) we can acturally challange the central defence of opponents who at the moment are heading our high balls away for fun B) We have a Plan B to add to our intricate around the box passing. C).....A Second/Third Areial threat to add to MacIllwain and Ballard (when he plays). D) A potential replacement to Steele....since I hear he's possibly retiring after this season .
