Saturday 19/3, away at Hemel.
Think this is a winnable game for us if we keep tight at the back we should come away with 3 points

Theres a view from a Hemel supporter here: tudortalk.ning.com/forum/topics/hemel-02-oxfordNot really sure what the 'time wasting/injury faking' is all about as the only real stoppage in the whole game was when the Hemel substitute objected to Clarkys barge off the ball and decided to punch him a few times, other than that there was no time wasting, we didn't run the ball into the corners of any of that. Still, it's a great result, the Steele/Felipe combination is really starting to click, a makeshift pair of Ballard and Lyon did it's job and the back 4 were solid, Peirson and Clarke dealt with any aerial problems, some Hemel fans were saying we were rubbish (not the chap in the link) which must mean that Hemel are beyond rubbish as we always looked like the team that was going to win and they only threatened properly on a couple of occasions Good to be part of a decent travelling support today and great for the players to acknowledge our support by applauding at the final whistle, back to back wins for the first time this season and our first 'double', we'll head to Stourbridge on Tuesday full of confidence.

Sounds like a great day Padz. So important to get a back-to-back win at this stage of the season. How many City supporters there?

One thing is for sure...there was more than 100 people there altogether, which is what the official attendance states, not many more but still more.
As for us probably 20-30 id say.

201 or 101...still rather sceptical on 40...When I went to Chippenham..couple of us made some noise...wouldn't put OCFC contingent at more than 15...unless coach driver..sponge man etc are all counted...10 more than last year's game I'd say...No more than a thin sprinkling at Weymouth either, which should have been (possibly) attraction of the season!

Npton, where you there? It depends on the game to how many fans OCFC have. When we went to Cirencester this year there was about 20-25 behind the goal, plus a handful around the ground. Then at Leamington it was just three of us behind the goal and a couple around the ground.
How many went to Burton?!?!
It really depends on the game, the timing and the location. To say "wouldn't put OCFC contingent at more than 15" is unfair. You've obviously picked the games where it's been the case, but you often see more.

You're right..and this does give me optimism for travelling more with OCFC. Was going to go to Leamington (would have been 4! ;D)..but knew it was miles out of town..bit of a turn off - unless it's your main club..which unfortunately..OCFC isn't! Not sure why 15 at Chippenham is "unfair" however..accurate assessment..as I was there..last season also.

Sorry, I thought you were making a reference to OCFC traveling contingent in general being around 15. Sorry, misread. As I was saying, it really depends on the game. Interesting what you say about OCFC not being your first team. It's the same for me (and many more, I'm sure) too. If I didn't have West Ham I'd be going every week, home & away! Think that most of those that travel to watch City away don't follow another club.

Although my first love is Manchester United, but i only manage to get to old trafford about 3/4 times a season and then it's mostly midweek. City's away support has always been quite small, with the odd game where we'll get a good turnout, im hoping we can go as a big group to the Didcot game on the last day of the season. The fact that i've probably only missed about 5/6 away games in the last 5 years i just naturally go everywhere

I always thought that the larger the away travelling crowd the better the day out is. I always tried to push to get more people to travel to the away games, but knowing you could be the only one's there was always a bit offputting. If City had a core group of say 20-30 that put the miles in, then I think the casual fan would be more keen.
Think Burton set the bar, haha, if only people were that keen for Halesowen away!

Yeah, absolutely true...if you think there's a few going..adds up to the away day excitement. Would love to go Didcot but an important date at Edgely Park, Stockport beckons that day! Oxford City v Leamington on for me though!
