Just read Ford's notes and am slightly confused as to why Fordy would make an example of Malone over his disciplinary record.
Malone as anyone who frequents CPF will know, is of the 'old mould' a player who likes a tackle and even on a bad game works hard for the team, his disciplinary record doesn't make good reading, however he is one of the few players who makes himself available for the club come rain or shine.
I personally saw him get sent off more than 3 times last season and myself even questioned the idea he was gaining a 'rep' with the refs due to his aggressive style and character.
This season Malone in my opinion has had an almost immaculate disaplinary record, ok so afew yellows and a couple of suspensions due to them(not unexspected for a player of his nature) but until last weekend no red cards all season... This is a massive improvement from what we saw last season and I just don't understand what Fordy hopes to gain by publically highlighting Malones disaplinary record when its something he is aware of and is already clearly trying to improve.
