We thought it might be a good idea to get a few of us together for the last game of the season, away to Didcot. It has been suggested that we all meet up in Oxford , perhaps The Four Candles as it is quite near to the train station, from about 11am onwards and that we then get the 12.37 train over to Didcot. Once in Didcot, we make the short journey to the Ladygrove for a few beers and some lunch before heading onto Diddy for the kick off at 3pm. Please feel freel to join us anywhere along the route - everyone is welcome - would be great to get us all together and cheer on the lads for the last game of the season. Andy Cox is coming along and after his superb effort at home against Salisbury, has agreed to lead us in a bit of a singsong! Any questions, give us a shout. Cheers Sharon

Would love to...unfortunately, Stockport away for me...could be merging fixtures between my two teams in a few seasons..the way things are going! Pub outside the station at Didcot seems to open from 9.30 onwards, from when I 've changed there..for any early/drunken birds! ;D Wil make Leamington at home though!

This was tweeted by a Didcot FC committee member regarding Truro's success.
dtfc1907 Martin "The racist imbeciles with the nasty little chairman are champions! Just shows crime does pay!"
What a lovely guy eh and so full of sportsmanship?

Ref DTFC Truro Comment, if this was indeed posted by a DTFC committee member I can only apologies on behalf of the club as this is not the behaviour or types of comments DTFC committee except or endorse, we have always had good relationships with Truro and have found both the club and chairman nothing less than sporting, and fantastic hosts and we have always enjoyed playing them home or away. The Truro fans as well have always been very respectful and a good bunch of supporters.
Again can only apologies to Truro which we will do on their web site, and we will look into the incident. I hope this does not leave any smear on DTFC who do not condone this behaviour.

Hopefully Didcot will do the decent thing and remove that idiot from any connection with their club

Hi Guys, just to say from a Truro fan's perspective we've enjoyed our visits to Didcot Town and Oxford City and have respect for both clubs, I recognise the comment is not reflective on Didcot and they have some good people there. We'll enjoy our moment of success this afternoon but I'd like to say thanks for your hospitality these past couple of seasons in Oxfordshire and we wish you well for the future.
all the best

Congratulations to Oxford City, it was a deserved win today the lads worked hard and got the result.
Good luck for next season, hope it goes well for the Club, hopefully your fans enjoyed the day at the Loop, hopefully we will return to Southern Prem, local Derby's are always good and we have good banter with City,
Well done to Mike Ford as well, was good to see you back at the Loop,

Thanks Lamby. Diddy were hospitable as usual and City will miss you next season if you don't get a reprieve like Banbury and Tiverton in recent seasons. Both of us have dropped too many points at home this season so it's not surprising we both won the away fixture. I thought City played solidly today and everyone put in a very decent shift on another warm day. it was nice to end the season on such a positive note but I do feel for our opponents who have not had much luck this season. The real difference between the two teams was Lee Steele who continues to amaze us--is he really 37? He probably ran more than anyone else on the pitch today and thoroughly deserved to end his season with a hat-trick. I just hope his giving his boots to the crowd was not a sign that he is hanging them up as far as City is concerned!

Lee Steele was indeed a real asset to you guys and put on a fantastic show, I like you hope he does not hang up his boots (not that I want him to put 3 past us again) but the fact is I think he still has many good seasons in front of him and I am sure he will continue to put on a show for your supporters.
Your guys worked hard for 90 minutes and got a deserved result, it was good to see your players show such respect for your fans at the end, thats what football should be about.
We will wait and see what happens closed season and hope there maybe a way for us to stay up, but if not enjoy closed season and good luck to City next year, you were great hosts to us this year and all an extremely friendly bunch.
