I should think it very much depends on how intense the frost is tonight - but it must be reasonably hopeful at the present.

Thanks for the Info Chris! Who knows which way the result will go for us, not much hope if we play like we did against Farnborough on Boxing day.

Bah, we should have had that one won, despite Bashley having more of the ball, especially in the first half I think we created more chances with it. On another day Janes (his 1v1 with the keeper) and Ballard (his close range header) would have gone in, which would have put us out of sight.
However yet again just like Last week, we fail to see a game out and let a goal in with the last meaningful kick of the game. Is almost feels enevitable these days.
I think the turning point today was the substitution of Steele for Dougie, Dougie put in a good shift and I think had a good game, however when Steele came on, Puddy was booting the ball up there from goal kicks and it was being pinged straight back at city as every single time there defenders were (not surprisingly) getting above Steele and winning the ball back. meaning they largely dominated the play in the closing stages...coupled with some very sloppy city passing you could just feel one of there efforts was going to go in.
Still want to see a 4-4-2 approach with Dougie and Steele up front from the start.....

I agree with Hedges, a game City should have won and those missed chances proved costly. The turning point was the substitution of Steele for Douglas, Bashley dominated afterwards, you could feel the equaliser was coming, and City didn't nothing to try and change things. The warning signs were there with the favourable offside decision hotly contested by Bashley and them hitting the top of the bar before the equaliser finally came.
In the closing stages, Janes continued to play to far upfield. Either he should have been told to defend 15 years deeper, or have been taken off for Perps.
Whilst I am happy with 4-5-1 for away games, I think we need to play 4-4-2 at home.
Finally, after my comments on the Didcot game, I would give the MOTM today to Liam who gave a disciplined and concentrated performance today. He can't be blamed in anyway for the the way City faded.
