How to get to the play-offs ?

So after 20 games this season, City have 28 points, which is exactly the same as after 20 games last season.
Last year City picked up 39 points from the final 22 games ( 11 wins, 6 draws and 5 losses ) to finish with 67 points. To reach the play-offs, 69 points has nearly always been sufficient, although the current low level of points earned by Rugby may mean the benchmark is higher if they continue in the same vein for the rest of the season. But if we assume 69 points remains the requirement, then City will need 41 points from the remaining games ie 12 wins, 5 draws and 5 losses.
Looking at the remaining fixtures, this is not out of the realms of possibility. We can target the matches as follows ( with apologies to the supporters of the clubs involved ! ) :
Wins : Home vs Hemel, Truro, Stourbridge, Leamington, Evesham, Banbury & Brackley : Away vs Rugby, Clevedon, Tiverton, Bedford & Swindon Supermarine
Draws : Home vs Hednesford & Halesowen ; Away vs Merthyr, Truro & Chippenham
Losses : Home vs Farnborough & Nuneaton; Away vs Cambridge, Halesowen & Bashley
We do seem to have mostly the top teams at home and the bottom teams away, which is how I would prefer it to be.
Given the current order of fixtures, prior to any further postponements or rearrangements, we have most of the draws/losses coming up in the next few weeks, so a few bad results shouldn't necessarily end any play-off hopes. In fact, a few good results might avoid the need to finish the season with one loss in the last 13 games if we remain ahead of the plan !!
Of course, this is all mathematical. To reach the play-offs City need to close out games much better, 4 points have been lost in injury time in the last 2 matches.
