Saturday's visitors are Cirencester Town, they currently sit bottom of the table.
The last meeting between us saw Felipe Barcelos score a wind assisted freekick to give us a 1-0 win, familiar faces amongst their squad Andy Gunn and James Mortimer-Jones(ex diddy)
Darren Pond and Michael Lyon are both suspended for this one, not sure of the chances of Jason Mooney being fit.
Predictions?
City 3-1 Ciren

Cirencester are in a false position. They have beaten Leamington, drawn at Brackley, lost only in the last minute of a close match at Chesham--and with Andy Gunn now in their defence, they are not conceding many goals. They are likely to be hard to break down, and desperate to get a result and get away from the bottom. I hope City, who only just managed to beat North Leigh on Tuesday, are not suffering from post-cup run deflation because the matches between now and Christmas will determine their season. Winnable but potentially banana-skin matches like this and Hemel, mixed with tough fixtures like Chesham away and Totton at home--five games, weather permitting, which will show whether City's own position is inflated (most of our matches so far have been against teams from the lower half of the table) or whether promotion dreams might even be realistic. So for this game, I'd go for 1-0 to City.

I'm not too worried about the score (A win of course) but we need to put in a performance.

Well, we didn't put in the performance Ash wanted. Maybe the absence of Dazza and Lyon didn't help but City are just not playing as well as they were a month ago. The positives were the reappearance of Liam Malone as a second half sub, and a good performance by the defence (apart from Jack Ashton's rush of blood to the head right at the end, which earned him another booking)--they salvaged a point for us, but on the negative side, if we play like this through December we'll be mid table by the New Year as we have better opponents coming up. Ciren were well marshalled at the back by our olf favourite Andy Gunn, but they didn't have much more to offer--and the bad news is, neither did City; the midfield weren't creating opportunities and it's revealing to say that our best two chances came from defenders--Jack's first half shot which their keeper did well to tip over, and Bloss' header from a second half corner which was headed off the line. To cap it all, Andy Ballard's injury looked as serious as his loss will be to the team. Still, the other leading teams didn't have a good day either...
