Oxford City Vets finish off 2011 with a cup semi final against Goring United (who play at Milton)... City will be looking to continue their recent run of impressive away form and give themselves a cup final to look forward to in the new year. Creedy has been to watch the opposition and will be briefing the gaffa later this afternoon.
City will be without the two Justins (again), Andy Martin and Paul Spittle as well as the long term absentee's Stuart Clark & Rory Barrett... However we welcome back Fraser Gills, Craig Dore (couldn't face watching Utd lose again tonight) and our skipper Julian 'I might be late' Dark!!
Congratulations to both Rory Barrrett and Fraser Gills on their new arrivals and look forward to getting a few tips from you on changing dirty nappies etc. Which might come in handy when we're out with Creedy on the 23rd!
Team From; Pagano, Pearce, Warmington, Cooper, Grossman, Parsons, Dark, Sharkey, Maciak, Holder, Gills, Dore, Tutton, Creed, Kimber.
Final note if you see a silver VW Polo going South on the A34 at 40mph about 7pm tonight, please be patient... This may well be our supporter of the year doing his first solo drive on a bypass!! Kick off 7.45pm so give yourself plenty of time son.
Up the Vets!!! ;D
