Anyone going? Looking forward to it...hope to get back to wining ways, though this one was always going to be difficult. Chesham at CPF in the FAC a few years back, was my first ever OCFC game..hopefully now a fully paid up member of the OCFC Society! Travelling over on buses, via Wycombe, but a tad difficult to get back..so anyone giving a lift back...much appreciated! ...Who are they??? ;D

Dad and me will be there with the flags.....Chesham are one of the teams I really want to beat in there back yard as my last two visits have been memorable for all the wrong reasons.....their chavy kids the first year....then a 4-0 defeat and a terrifying drive home in monsoon weather conditions which flooded roads in minutes the second..
Maybe 3rd time lucky!

Getting excited now! Few ales in Wycombe - good pub opposite station..then into Chesham just after 5pm. Planning to head for Queen's Head on Church St. Not sure what their (do they have???) clubhouse is like?.

if your going to go to there club house, my advise is get there early, you have to exit the ground to get into the clubhouse.....no idea what its like inside since ive never got there early enough to experience a pre-match pint.
See you there!

Hi all - looking forward to the game tomorrow. You access the club house via the turnstile these days and it's open throughout the game with a decent view of the pitch though you can take drinks outside in plastics. Green King IPA and Sharp's Doombar on draught at the moment plus John Smiths, Stowford Press cider, Carlsberg, Fosters, Stella, Coors Lite and Guinness.

Well, not sure what to say about last night, we dominated the game from start to finish and looked to be seeing a rare win at Chesham for us, 93rd minute equaliser and a real sickener as Chesh had looked a pretty poor side (Bashley were certainly a better team on saturday), aside from the freekick against the crossbar we weren't really troubled and we looked pretty dangerous when attacking them.
Standout performances for me were Adam Learoyd, Andy Ballard (Brackley manager in the stands last night, they have a 7 day in for him) and Michael Lyon.
Felt that perhaps it was the wrong move to sub Lyonsy who had been a menace down the right flank and was having a good game, a double swap of Fish and Felipe for Bash and Dec would've been my ideal choice, Fish offered us something different up top where a lone Bash had done a decent job holding the ball up but was never going to trouble their defence pace wise.
Still, on the flip side a point at Chesham isn't the worst result and we'll be well prepared for the visit of Totton on Saturday

Agree with all points made by Padz.
The lyonsy sub may have been more to do with the Yellow card than anything, but I agree he had a good game. Thought Ballard was Excellent as he has been all season and Learoyd is certainly improving game on game. Unless (sadly) he will be dropped to fit Clarkey in (who was Injured last night and was on the wrong side of the fence) It will be interesting to see if he can play as well down the left as he can the right and if taht is the case I feel we have a defense that can stop anybody in this league.....though Marvin had a very competant game last night.
Unless he's injured I thought Felipe should have come on, there was a surprising amount of space particularly in wide areas and thought with his pace he could have had a field day in the second half. Fish did the best ive seen of him since his return, closed everything down and even made a couple of tackles that any defender would be proud of....however we didn't really look like scoring even on the break as we had little to none up top in the last 10mins.

Andy Ballard (Brackley manager in the stands last night, they have a 7 day in for him) . Excellent news in the Oxford Mail item that Andy has decided to stay. I reckon his presence makes a big difference to the way City perform - a real unsung (or insufficiently-sung) hero.
