Kidlington 0 Oxford City Colts 9
After not playing a match since the 20th December 2009 in our cup game and with only one training session under our belts, only coming back last Wednesday due to the snow, Xmas etc..
It was one of the best team performances this season and we played with the right effort, tempo and drive which had been missing from some of our games last year and we now know what level of performance is required every week.
We raced into a seven goal lead within 20 minutes of the first half with some well worked and taken goals from long and short range. Many players had exceptional games and worked very hard for each other throughout the game, Kidlington didn't give up and also missed a penalty which would have made it 1-1 in the opening minutes of the game and then in the second half only conceded two more goals when we were attacking down the slope.
Well done to everyone today,see you on Wednesday at training.

A warm welcome also to Jamie Ball who made a solid and impressive debut today.
