Dear All, As Brackley is our last home game of the season, we will have having musician and singer Mark Scobey performing in the Clubhouse from 6.30pm. We will also be having a "happy hour" between 5pm and 6.30pm where all the draught beers (lager, bitter, cider and Guinness) will have £1.00 off a pint. Please drink responsibly - for all the details visit www.drinkaware.co.uk. So come down, watch the game and enjoy the evening. Cheers Sharon

Yes, sorry that should have been last home league game!
Was under water yesterday but an update today says it is draining well. I suspect if the rain isn't too heavy tomorrow and Saturday we should be okay....!! Crossing my fingers... and toes...!!

Just heard that the pitch is looking okay at the moment - less than 24 hours left to avoid the rain! Just to add that the Nomads will be returning to the Clubhouse after their game tomorrow so another reason to stay and celebrate!

Well done to the Small town near Corby, But a great point gained, good to see conor late on we will need the whole club Behind us on the drive for the playoffs, and well done to all players involved, from the penalty save from Jason, to the near miss from Bash with Elvis in Graceland!!!

Yes, a good point for City against the league's best team. There were periods today when Brackley dominated and it did look like Conference v Southern League, but one thing City have proved this season is that they are generally not an easy team to beat, particularly at home, and in the end it was the Saints who were running the ball into the corners to keep their draw. Great penalty save from Jason, plus two more fine stops; good opportunist goal from Bash, a lot of solid defending again and a few anxious moments for Brackley when the ball was bobbing around in their area, but not many clear cut chances as they also defended well. With City missing Pond and Wilmott, Issac and of course Malone, and fielding a 17 year-old on his debut (well done, Albi!), you have to say this was a good result. Still, though one more win should put us in the play-offs, we are not there yet. Hemel need the win at least as much as we do (if not more) on Monday, and they won 4-1 today. Then we face the prospect of tired legs, injuries (?and a possible suspension for Ballard?) on Wednesday. And there is very much the chance of the rain forecast for next week causing either of those matches to be postponed yet again, leading to two matches on consecutive days--oh no!

Did not make the game today due to work. But sounds like city gave it there best. Looking at other results, Hemel beat relegated cirens, no big deal. However agreed how the game goes Monday (if no rain please) cus I will be there! Huge game for both clubs just hope its played on third attempt! ;D
