V [shadow=blue,left,300]Oxford City VS Afc Totton[/shadow] Playoff Final on Monday, Afc Totton the opposition, they spanked us at their place early in the season, we drew at Court Place Farm when they equalised in stoppage time. They are losing their manager after monday (presumably to join their chairman at Havant) If we play how we did last night then i have every confidence we will win this and gain promotion., they have dangermen, Charles,Gosney and Sherbourne are all top players at this level, and the experienced Carl Pettefer tends to pull the strings in the midfield. Prediction. City 2-1 Afc Totton

Looking at F A. Disaplinary site looks like AFC Totton will be without Nathen Campbell, For red card after second bookable offence during time added on in semi against chesham.

So looking forward to the game this afternoon - although nervous too!
Moved to Oxford in 2004 and saw my first game at CPF at the end of the 2006-07 season when on a lovely sunny afternoon we lost to Bashley (who won the South & West Division) that season. The club is such a well-run and friendly place that I got the bug immediately.
Since then it has been onwards and upwards with many notable highlights - the performance against Burton in Round 1 of the FA Cup, the penalty shoot-out play-off win at Didcot.
This afternoon could cap it all and I am crossing fingers, toes and everything else that can be crossed!
Come on you HOOPS!

Welcome to the Blue Square South!
Following AFC Hornchurch's win over Lowestoft today in the Ryman play-off, Bishops Stortford fans appear to have resigned themselves to another season in the Blue Square North. And "First Reserves" for a move north will be either Oxford City or Chelmsford City! So let's hope that nothing untoward happens to, say, Kettering between now and the Conference AGM on June 9 which might create a vacancy in BSN! And I've no wish to concern you unduly but I know for a fact that Oxford City's ground is 150 yards further north than Chelmsford City's....

Lovely to read all the good wishes from rival fans. You have to feel a bit sorry for Totton who have had a great season, but City finished the stronger. Let's hope it's the BS South next season--the travelling is going to be a bit longer as it is.
I see the attendance today was 1280 according to the Southern league website. I must have misheard the announcer at half time--I thought he said 1028. Either way a good crowd for us, but 1280 must make it our best ever at CPF, isn't it?

Hopefully if anything untoward happens to Kettering and Darlington it would lead to reprieves for Hinckley and Blyth Spartans rather than any other reshuffling I can't say I would fancy trips to Workington, Harrogate, Stalybridge, Droylesden etc !
