With all the interest in City's promotion to the BSN it appears to have passed unremarked that Justin Merritt has left Oxford City Nomads after a hugely successful season to join up with Andy Lyne at Witney Town, and that City Legend Chris Fontaine has moved from Abingdon Town to take over the reins at Nomads.
Is Justin Lee remaining with Nomads?

Bumped into some people from city at the wheatley harvester the other night and heard this. Didn't say anything untill soemone else or the club beat me to it.
Im not too surprised by the news as I spoke to Justin on the presentation night when I asked about clarification on the Nomads position. he said nomads arn't going up because we didn't apply as it was unlikely the 1st team was going to get promotion. But also said something about small print with VAT/TAX etc as even if the nomads did go up theres various stipulations about two clubs playing under the same banner at the next level of footballl....it basically sounded a complex situation. He didn't sound too convinced at that time what can be done to move the nomads forward as they have now peaked and of course not lose players who are not good enough for BSN but much better than the Hellenic.
I did also apologies for never getting to a nomads game after all that!
From what the person at the Harvester said the Nomads are applying for the promotion next season if they can get there!!
Anyway Best of Luck Justin!

Believe it or not, the Club were due to make an announcement today - something should be up on the website later today.
It was felt that no statement should be made until the Nomads management and players had collected the league shield, which they did at the Hellenic presentation evening last night.
Pictures from the presentation evening are on City's Facebook page as well as Twitter - hope to get these also uploaded to the website shortly.
